ViewsAssuranceFrom ADISC Answers WikiAssurance Briefs are the generic brand diaper available at Wal-mart stores. They are manufactured by Tyco. This review specifically covers the Maximum Protection briefs.
About this diaperAppearance- The leak guards and tapes on these diapers are sub-par, and the outer plastic is relatively rough. Like most modern adult diapers, the main panels have a cloth-like outer covering that some ABDLs do not prefer. Thickness- As is common among many store brands, these briefs tend to be thin, with a short and narrow absorbent core. Absorbency- The Maximum Protection briefs hold approximately 1-2½ wettings, depending on the size of your bladder and how well the diaper is attached. Assurances have a wetness indicator that, contrary to what one would expect, start out with two yellow lines that turn blue when the diaper is wet. Like most other diapers, doubling up or adding a stuffer can greatly enhance the performance of Assurances. Fecal capacity is currently unknown. The capacity of the pullup-style Extra Absorbency version is less than that of Maximum Protection, holding only 1 wetting before leaking. OverallAssurances are good for AB/DLs on a budget. A package of 20 comes for approximately $10, for a unit price of $0.50 per diaper. As these diapers are sold only at Wal-mart, they are available primarily in the United States. They may be available at Walmex in Mexico, Asda in the UK, and Seiyu in Japan, as they are all subsidiaries of Wal-mart. |
