The articles can be edited by almost anyone who is logged in.

The only time you need to discuss the change here before making it is when you want to make a big change [or] one that is likely to cause controversy. In such cases it is a good idea to get the opinion of the community before making the change. Remember, you can use the preview button to see how your change looks before saving it, and only save when you are happy with the result.

Added external related links, will probably organize the page later by creating sections if it needs it.

Edit: Modifying a few words for syntax/clarity issues. Created categories. Fixed an issue with line breaks. Adding some links.
Edit 2: Revised the whole article, though if someone could look at it closely, it would be appreciated. I see lots of repetitions and syntax errors.

I added and corrected links to the sources of survey data in the article. It is great that the survey results are being useful.

Since adding links to one's own website is against policy at some other wikis, it seemed safest to offer this disclaimer. Please let me know if it is frowned upon here.

The article repeats some myths and misunderstandings. I've been told that this actually reinforces them. What are people's thoughts on rewording the article to address the myths and misunderstandings without repeating them?
