Discussion thread for the Wiki's main page, called : Reputation

If you wish to change the Reputation article for the better, then feel free to do so!
The articles can be edited by almost anyone who is logged in.

The only time you need to discuss the change here before making it is when you want to make a big change, one that is likely to cause controversy. In such cases it is a good idea to get the opinion of the community before making the change. Remember, you can use the preview button to see how your change looks before saving it, and only save when you are happy with the result.

ya, that must suck if you work on one of those pages for a long time, and then you come back one day and it's just an empty window with the word "No."

If that happens, I revert the page to a previous version, and the person who blanked the page loses their ability to edit wiki articles.

Oh, thats good. I didn't know there was a way to revert to the old page. Very very good! At least that way there isn't anybody who is able to just go in and ruin everyones hard work.

There is the history Tab. usually I do it sometimes to see what other people have added. It is not always obvious. Very handy feature.

But do people really think blanking pages is clever? It mindless vandalism that can be easily reverted.

Luckily it can be reverted.

However, if someone has a problem with the article, then why not form a discussion like this, or ask the person who wrote it. As the person who started the article and wrote a lot for it, I'd appreciate it if people had a problem with it, address me about it. Not be an ass and lose the feature to edit wikis altogether.

When I write articles, I try to keep them as neutral as possible (like Wikipedia itself), but I also try to encompass the opinion of everyone to keep it fair. Not everyone will agree with everything.
