Why is it so hard to find abdl shorts without a snap crotch i find them impractical. And I get the cute factor but but are you really gonna be using the snap crotch when it is just as simple to pull the down for diaper changes

When you are the one doing the changing it makes things a little easier
I guess its just a new concept for me.

I get it with actual bottoms, that makes sense, but but with shorts you would have to un pop them, fold it upwards then push the waistline of the shorts above the diaper and the doo it all in revers when you're done

Baby-Pants.com has them in blue denim and railroad stripes. Good quality and fair priced.

They have got too be one of the best companies for baby style cloths im surprised they are not a little more main stream like rearz etc

Personally, I like the snaps on specialty clothing. Its another reminder that I need special big baby clothes. The snaps only really feel special when Mommy lays me down for a change and uses them. I get how solo they would seem like a lot of extra work for nothing.

Oh my god that is such a pet peeve of mine. Actual baby trousers don't have them, why put them on adult baby ones? It is so much more work to close snaps all along a wriggly baby's legs than it is to just pull the waistband down. I get them on dungarees and rompers, since you would have to pull their arms through the piece of clothing to get at the diaper which a lot of babies don't appreciate, but otherwise it's so pointless. And aren't the snaps uncomfortable when you move? Normal crotch seams can get bulky enough, why add more material? Not to mention they make the trousers not really appropriate to wear in public, which I am mad about. If I'm gonna be spending that much money on a piece of clothing, I wanna be able to wear it outside, and if I have to stay indoors anyway, I will be wearing comfy leggings and not some weird jeans.

You described how I feel about them perfectly. If its not on baby clothes then why is it on adult baby colths

The snaps are positioned to make removal difficult for children and adults who want to play with their poop.

Any kind of clothing which is clearly made with the assumption that the wearer will be diapered just excites me so much. Whether we're talking about ABDL clothing with snaps for diaper changes, or pajamas/onesies made for toddlers or special needs children/adults (with back zippers to prevent undressing, easy crotch/leg access).

We are specifically talking about clothes design for the ABDL market here. Ex: tykables snappies

But with shorts its so unnecessary, especially if you're the one changing your own diaper

But that doesn't even make sense? If you want to make removal difficult, put a closure at the back of the garment and don't make that closure snaps which any 16 month old can open. Seriously, with snaps at the crotch you just have to grab the fabric and pull and then it's open. And that's for special needs clothing, we're talking regular (adult) baby clothing here where the assumption is that you want easy access for changes, where extra snaps on shorts just make closing them up unnecessarily complicated.
