  1. Diaper Lover
I'm a single middle-aged male who wore cloth diapers when young but now only go for disposables. My favorite diaper overall is BetterDry Day because they fit well and are comfortable. I don't wear one in public very often, mostly because of concerns about odor, getting into a car wreck, etc. I only wet them and don't engage in 'little' behavior or the like.

Although I had no history as a bedwetter when I was young, I wanted to wear diapers again. I spoke about this to a second grade classmate and he blabbed about it on the playground one day in front of others, but I don't remember being teased by anyone else but him, and thankfully I moved at the end of the school year. I bought diapers as a teenager and kept the bag in my closet at home. Imagine my distress when I came home one day to find the closet had been cleaned out but the bag was still there, and if anyone else at home saw or heard about it, they were kind enough not to say so. I wore one of those diapers one day and although I didn't think it was obvious, my mom patted my butt a few times, something she never did. (I don't remember if this was before or after the closet cleaning.)

I was married and told my wife about this interest, and while it didn't seem to faze her and she even wore one a few times, ultimately I think it was a big red flag and our relationship was short-lived. I also wore diapers around a guy I saw for several years. He wore them too sometimes, but really only to humor me.

There was one embarrassing incident when my diaper leaked while I played blackjack at a casino and the stool got wet. I saw it when I got up and headed to the restroom immediately, and security guards entered as I was looking for a stall to change in. They looked directly at me and smirked but thankfully left me alone. I also had a close call when a buddy unexpectedly stopped by my campsite while I had a wet diaper on, and had to quickly change out of it in my RV's bathroom before I could even speak to him.

I've had purge cycles over the years, the longest time without diapers being about a year. Sometimes I accept that this is who I am--let whatever happens happen and I'll deal with others finding out when it comes. Other times I think that it's just not worth the risk, expense, and angst. The inner conflict certainly takes a toll, as many of you can relate.

hi

Next time do not purge, just place them in a box, seal them and place them away for awhile is what I hear is a more cost-effective method!

Welcome and be welcomed to this unique World of ADISC!
A truly wonderful place as near everyone here is likely wearing a diaper!
Enjoy!

That's a sound idea for those more uncertain about purging. As for me, If I am of a mind to purge, I'm all in because I don't want them discovered. I make good money so buying more diapers isn't a problem if I need to indulge again.

Hi dwmod, I'm late, but when I discover a fellow pure DL who favors BetterDry, I feel like leaving a message.

All that's quoted above also applies more or less to me - I'm just a DL slightly over 50 who only wets and prefers plain white disposables like BetterDry.
There are some descrepancies - my wife accepts that I wear, but does not particpate. I've had purge cycle during adolescence, but over the decades got used to my quirks and don't care anymore, I just enjoy when I feel like it and ignore my stash when I don't.

I wish you all the best for finding a accepting partner (if you like) and coming to terms with yourself whatever way suits you.

Thanks for your message. You're fortunate to be with a partner who tolerates our little quirk. I'm not sure I'd want to reveal this side of me in a relationship ever again.

It's all about trust. If you have it, you can share anything. If not, nothing lasts.
