Based on feedback from my moderator team, I've decided to make a change to how the Mature Topics forum is moderated.
The change is: people with the "moderated" status (mostly people with a recent warning from a moderator) can no longer post in that forum at all.
My staff team and I feel this is necessary in order to:
We don't want to do that. We believe that respectful debate has its merits.
Still, starting today, we will be setting a higher minimum standard for that forum.

- Improve the quality of discussion in that forum, by providing a bigger incentive for people to keep things classy, intelligent and respectful.
- Reduce the number of moderated posts/threads that we moderators have to manually review.
We don't want to do that. We believe that respectful debate has its merits.
