Is it abnormal for a male to feel less urgency toward urination while seated?

Earlier this week I jumped on my Bike and took a ride through the mountains. About an hour and a half into the trip I noticed that I needed to pee. Since I was diapered I just decided to relax and enjoy the ride. Even though I was relaxed, nothing happened until I came upon a stop sign. As soon as my leg touched the ground and I was in more of a standing position my need became urgent. I had no control and flooded the diaper I was wearing.

So I ask my ADISC experts, is this normal? I knew I needed to relieve myself but while seated it just didn't seem urgent and I just expected that when my body needed to go it would do so while I was relaxed enjoying a scenic mountain ride.
 
I don't know if it's abnormal or not, but you're not alone. I have noticed the same when riding my bike.
And sort of similar things when driving a car or sitting on a chair.

Its normal for blokes peeing while standing then sitting, even i notice i sometime having trouble peeing while sitting in a nappy or on the thunder box, I'm assuming its our nature
