I think most of swim in the deeper end of the pool, but I think it's interesting to see how many are in the more shallow end.
I think doing or liking something like you did when you were young is a slight form of ageplayer.
I've seen adults get giddy taking pictures on giant oversized chairs that made them look small.
The popularity of super hero movie, Star Wars, and remakes/updates we watched when we were young.
We see adults wearing superhero shirts or other gear from stuff the liked growing up.
"The Toys That Made Us" on Netflix seemed like it was made for us.
The cycle of nostalgia is shorter than ever.
I could give lots of examples, but I think it comes from liking stuff you liked in simpler times.
