Anyone seen Betterdry in XL in USA yet?

Maybe this is a question for NorthshoreAdam, but I noticed Northshore is now carrying Crinklz in XL, and I saw in another post that their sister diaper Betterdry is now in XL as well but only over in Europe ( I think SaveExpress?). Preferring an all white diaper over printed ones, this is a good thing that more of these premium ABDL diapers are becoming available in the boring all white versions as well. Seems easy to do too since most have their patterns printed on white backsheet anyways.. .

So my question is: Has anyone seen Betterdry in size XL here in the states? I would think Adam at NS might be the first to do this- ETA?

PS- still loving the MegaMax and Dry 24/7 BTW, but love to have more options too to try.

We didn't order BetterDry in XL just yet as we have too many other new products that we've been working on. We did bring in the Crinklz in XL and Small which are now available. We hope to add these sizes in BetteryDry as well in the future but do not have an exact timeframe yet.

Thank you Adam for the reply. It will be interesting how those do since a lot of people here tend to like Betterdry as a go to diaper. Now more of us larger folks can benefit from that too soon.

I personally would love to be able to buy XL BetterDry diapers from northshorecare.com, but I don't mind that they don't carry them right now. Like Adam mentioned, they have many other new products including the excellent MegaMax diapers which are available in XL. Still, I do love a "classic" diaper without a landing zone panel, and if they brought in the XL BetterDry I would definitely get some ;)

I would also like to get the BetterDry in XL, since I'm too fat for the large.

I just tried the sample of Crinklz in XL (thank you for providing that) and I'm very impressed. It's not a perfect diaper but it's the best overall that I've found so far and the only one I've found that I think will allow me to be better hydrated. They do need a landing zone, I have to add my own using three inch wide clear packing tape (perhaps you could include a roll of American made 3" clear packing tape with each case of diapers that you sell that don't have a landing zone, or that have a useless landing zone that doesn't cover everywhere the tapes might need to be placed). And the plastic is rather thin, as is the diaper padding (if they just added more fluff to their current padding I think it would be amazing, just don't reduce the SAP). And they could be taller, so they would come up to my waist and therefore be less prone to falling down (I have to use suspenders with my diapers because none of them come up to my waist and they all want to fall down).

I think my next diaper order will be from you for the Crinklz, unless you get the BetterDry in by the time I place my order, which should be soon. But I'm disabled and basically homeless and therefore I have very little money, so I can't afford to be spending extra just for cute prints (although I do like them). As it is, more than half of my SUBsistence income goes toward diapering supplies since the socialist medicine garbage causes me to have to be extremely dehydrated and causes my skin to break down and causes more messes.

LL Medico now has BetterDry in XL, with free shipping. I'm working on my order now.

Ok wow i see that- excellenet catch! I wish they would do samples of these first- their option to "try before you buy" doesn't apply to these quite yet. Must be too new of an offering. PaddedMikey when you get your order in, can you please confirm how they run in terms of size? larger or smaller etc.

Also, how is ordering from LLmedico? are they truly private or do they send out the fliers in the mail unannounced? I wouldn't want to get on a mailing list just yet. My neighbors get my mail all the time and that would be awkward...

Sorry for the late reply, I don't have much time for writing, or this site at all (especially since so many on here refuse to be logical or rational).

I've gone through my first bag and just opened my second bag today. I would say the sizing is OK, but not great. Waist size wise, they are a bit small for an extra large, I have about a 60" waist and I have just a couple inches of overlap, the rated size might actually fit, but just right on the edge, Abena (my previous main diaper) is much larger around. Length wise they are slightly longer than Abena, which is nice for me, though I could still use a much longer diaper that comes up to my waist so I don't have to rely so heavily on suspenders (I'm tall as well as fat and my body is pretty much tapered below my waist, so unless something comes up to my waist it's just going to immediately fall down). Overall I'd say the fit is the best I've found.

They are also very weak, both the shell, the lining and the connection of the standing leak guards. The first one ripped down the front along side the padding, so I extended my landing zones (3" clear packing tape) closer to the center, right up to the edge of the elastic waistband and started putting them on looser and I haven't had any more of them rip. I wouldn't dare try to use them without my "Abena Soft Cotton" fitting pants, I'm sure they would rip without them.

They are very absorbent, though I still need booster pads, especially for night through morning, since I start pooping either as soon as I wake up or sometimes before I wake up (and it rudely jars me awake) and it takes many hours for the poop to finish coming out and since there's no point trying to get changed before I'm fairly sure I'm done pooping (I've tried and wound up with messes), I need something absorbent enough to last. I wish I could get a diaper that didn't need boosters. They also contain the poop a little bit better than Abena.

Even with their downsides, they are the best overall diapers I've found for my needs and are my new main diapers. I do hope they will improve them though (and not like everyone "improves" things these days which is really making things worse).

Oh, I forgot to mention, they sell samples on eBay (I think they might on their site also, but I'm not sure), though they are very expensive and for me one diaper is never enough to sample to see if they will work for me, even two isn't usually enough. So for the price, if you need more than one to sample it might be cheaper to just get a bag of them.

Hey thanks for the solid response and review. Good to know about these. I haven't seen any on Ebay yet in the XL size, sample or bag for that matter (plenty of larges out there), but I will keep looking now that you mention it. Maybe they will improve those given their popularity.

I should have provided links, how stupid of me for not thinking of that.

The cheapest place I currently know of to get them, they do have the samples, although it's a sample of ONE for $5.99 with "free" shipping, of course most of that price is shipping. And I think their website is terrible.

LL Medico's eBay listing for BetterDry:
The same sample here is $7.99

I almost got them from "nappies-r-us" on eBay from Britain because it would have been less expensive, even with the high postage, than getting them from NorthShore. It's just a little bit more than getting them from LL Medico, so I think something is wrong in the American pricing. Here's the link for them:

And I forgot to mention in my review that, I would like it if they would also make the crotch of the diaper wider and improve the cut at the back of the legs (I have too much gap there, but I still have fewer leaks, but it would be much less with a wider crotch and more coverage in the rear).

I'd like to know how well they work for you.

Also, how is ordering from LLmedico?
They have been great. Don’t get any junk mail or anything and super fast (and free!) shipping. Definitely recommend.

I'm glad to see more places carrying them, although XPMedical's price is higher and I had a big problem with them sending me the wrong size Abena Abri-Fix Soft Cotton fitting pants and then after returning them they still wouldn't refund my money. I'll never buy from them again, unless I have no choice. It was a better company before it was sold to Liveanew.

Just got some Crinkles XL from North shore was one diaper some distributor

I’ve ordered from them for over a year now and have had no issues with them

I just checked the country's that "nappies-r-us" ships to and Israel is in the list, of course I don't know how much the shipping would be, or if you can even use eBay in Israel, there are too many things I just don't know.

My nearest ABDL shop would probably be at least one thousand miles away from me, I have to get all of my supplies online.
