Default Plushie made of win and stars.

Twilight Turtle Interactive Nightlight - Nursery Accessories - Nursery - BabyCenter Store

So, I was looking around the above site as I like to keep up to date with childrens' behaviour and how I should be acting when I regress and I came across this. I personally think it sounds like total epic win on a new level.

A turtle PLUSHIE, that has a built in projector that projects 8 star constellations on the ceiling. That's so badass! I might just get one!

Anyone got one of these or saw how realistic the projection is?

Looking for opinions before I go wasting £20 or so on this.

It's really cute, and it's a cool idea, but I don't think I'd spend that much money on one. Besides, I prefer my plushies to be more soft and huggable.

But if you really want it then go for it. It's an award winner and all the reviews seem really positive.

I am sure the battery cover is hard to find/open. plus its only 3 AAA's so even if there is a risk of shock which I doubt there is unless there is turtle abuse won't be enough to do anything.

I totally get your point but Three AAA's can produce sparks and start a fire if you cross their wires. But hell this isn't mythbusters and I totally get your point. Yeah its probably safe and I am just being stupid.

I've put 3 AAs in my mouth to see how it felt, and it was nothing at all. You really don't have to worry. (Yeah, I do weird things).

Anyways, I don't pay attention much to baby stuff these days. I know what I like.

but you didn't sallow them. Of course however a baby or toddler would have a hard time swallowing a AAA battery.

well I was kinda talking about a wire crossing so both ends of the battery + and - come into contact and spark and get VERY hot. But I didnt think of the whole battery swallowing thing either. But I am a nut and this toy is probably and most definitely perfectly safe for any any AB teen or AB adult or REAL baby. Then again what about EYE damage from the progector or is it just like one of those Glow Worm things? Wait does the baby sleep with it or does it go on its night stand or something?
