Ok, I'm going to NewQuay this weekend/part of next week. (Hopefully going to learn to surf, but anyway that's beside the point). I'm staying on a campsite, and am going with my older sister, her boyfriend and his friends. My plan is to buy some drynites just beofre we leave. I've been moaning long enough about getting some, so this should, with any luck, be it. I think there's a mini maket on site (which could sell them), but if not I'll find a nearby shop (and hopefully get up early whilst the others are sleeping). Does anybody have a any suggestions on how I could get them from the shop in NewQuay to my home without them being seen. I know the obvious thing is to put them in my backpack, but then if i needed to get something out, they'd be seen. Thanks.

First of all, think it through a little. Do you really want to risk being caught by your sister, her boyfriend, or her friends? Do you want the diapers that badly? Why don't you just relax and have fun learning to surf instead of worrying about diapers?
However, if you really want them, you could probably find a way to conceal them. You could possibly put them in the very bottom of your backpack, covered in clothes that you know you won't need on the way back. You could put everything you knew you would be using on the top so you wouldn't have to dig around to get them, and the diapers would remain hidden. That's really the only idea I can come up with. A pack of diapers is pretty big, and consequently somewhat difficult to hide. Also, it's "foolproof", not "full proof".

Buy them, wrap them in a (preferably) black plastic bag (which you should bring from home), and then wrap that in a simple carrier bag from a store and shove it to the very bottom of your backpack. Fill your backpack with the rest of the stuff, so if you have to get something out, it will be on top of the diapers.
I doubt anyone will look into your backpack (they're your siblings, not your parents - they have no right to go through your stuff in the first place). If you're worried, fill the backpack with your dirty laundry. I'm sure your sister or her boyfriend have better things to do than going through your dirty underwear! Honestly, where there's a will, there's a way, and this seems like a good enough opportunity. If getting the bag home is the thing you're worried about, then you've got the hardest part (actually buying them) figured out already. Peachy

Wait till you go home, believe me it is better. Or if you are so desperate to get them, try to get somewhere on your own. Trying to buy them in a town you don't know with the chance of people you know catching you 'cos you are going to be with them isn't the best of ideas. If you need to get them away from where you live, do it on your own. Your bag won't be checked when you get home and if you get something out on a train etc. no one is paying enough attention to spot them. But getting them in Newquay with those people there is a bad idea.

I have managed to get pacifiers home from places that are a long ways away from my home, but diapers are much harder to conceal. Definitely, I'd suggest waiting till you get home. It would totally ruin your weekend in any case even if you didn't get caught. Too much time spent worrying.
