i constantly find my self sucking on thing like pen caps, the collar of my shirt, erasers, my fingers (never my thumb thou), small odd things, etc. and i always notice after i've been doing this for a wile, i do this alot
now my question is does any one else find them selves doing this? |

Just watch you don't chip a tooth, I did that when I was about 13 and since then got away from it, I cringe when I see someone putting something that can damage a tooth in there mouth.
You know those choppers have to last you the rest of your life, and they will if you take good care of them, so be careful. |

Oral Fixation As to your question, not too much. I have gotten to like pacifiers, but that hasn't spread to other items. I can remember biting pencils when I was younger, but it wasn't so much a chewing habit/fixation, as just liking the feeling of the wood compressing under my bite. |
