Hi all!
Thought I'd make my introduction here, seeming as the main point of this post is to get some tips. So quick details: Name: Brittany Gender: Female (Transgendered) Age: 15 Nationality: English Main source of fun: Dance dance revolution ![]() Ok, so on to my questions! I am still living with my parents (obviously) and I'm interested in purchasing some diapers. I would like to know of a website that supplies them in packaging that wouldn't necessarily tell my parents what exactly is within the package. Also, I don't want to go to a store due to the embarassment factor involved. I am interested in getting just a few, as my parents seem to pry through everything I own, and have ever owned. So also, does anyone have some suggestions? I've taken a look around, and decided that I want something absorbant, but maybe crinkly/loud too. ![]() (Don't forget to keep it cheap!) Finally, my boyfriend knows about this, and is coming to meet me at my place soon. I want to know if there's any way he could possibly bring some to me, without his parents knowing he ordered them either? Any help will be greatly appreciated to fulfill this crazy teen's obsession with nappies/diapers! Thanks alot! Brittany |

Good luck finding something good and cheap...Some sites you could get from are XP Medical - Incontinence Supplies or Adult Cloth Diapers and Vinyl Pants Ordering diapers isn't going to be the cheapest thing though...Since you have to count for shipping too...It would be cheaper buying some from a store, but you won't get the better kinds that way

If you have parents who pry into everything you do then I personally think that getting diapers at a physical store is your safest choice. The diapers will be cheaper since there's no shipping involved and you can control when you get them. The embarrassment factor really isn't that bad, just a couple awkward minutes standing in line and buying. Even supposing someone asks you if they're for you (which won't happen) you can just claim they're for a grandparent who's living with you or something like that.
The only problem is that you can't get diaper samples at stores which from reading your post you sound like you want. You can find those at most websites that sell adult diapers. However, I don't know of any sites located in the UK. But again, I'd say go to a physical store unless you really don't think that it will be possible to hide a whole pack of diapers. |

Stores, on the whole, suck. So if you can order online, I would do.
You could try this: Attends. If you order on a Weekday before 2pm, they'll send them to you within 24 hours! With discrete packaging... and you can give them delivery instructions, so you can tell them not to knock and to just leave them somewhere. I'm not sure how good attends are (haven't tried them yet), but I hear they're good. I know another British member gets them often... I've heard people complain about the American attends, but our ones are meant to be good. ![]() Or... You can try ebay! Probably less reliable then buying them from a proper nappy site though. |

Is no one going to recommend the Wiki? Well, I will- cause I roll like that.
Getting Diapers - ADISC Answers Wiki Ordering Online - ADISC Answers Wiki Hiding Diapers - ADISC Answers Wiki Those articles should cover your questions/ concerns. I'd offer more personalized help, but since I don't live in the UK, I don't know what is available. Welcome to ADISC, and good luck on getting nappies!

This comes not from personal experience but from a friend, but www.tender-care.com are apparently very discreet in terms of packaging and delivery and they are about as cheap as you are likely to find. Their nappies are meant to be of a decent quality as well so they might be another option to consider, though buying in person would likely be a lot easier to hide from your parents. If you could pluck up the courage to go to a shop (or maybe twist your boyfriend's arm and get him to do it...) then it would be worth looking up any local mobility shops because the selection is likely to be better than any chemist's or supermarket.
Good luck, anyhow. |
