Default Overpriced ABDL items online

I have looked at a bunch of websites specifically catered for ABDL clothing and furniture. It is all unbelievably expensive. I don't worry about the furniture as much because, being only 18, I don't have my own place to put it.

But as for the clothes. The outfits can be as much as over 100 dollars. Not to mention the cost of bambino diapers. It's outrageous. There is a big part of the ABDL community who cannot afford these prices wether it's because they're young and don't have a full time job yet or they just can't afford it.

I think something needs to be done and someone should offer lower priced ABDL paraphenalia that still retains the good quality.

The reason that the price is so high for these things is that they aren't mass produced by factories like cars. When they are produced by mass production factories then they are generally cheaper to the consumer. *B/DL products are mostly custom made by individuals or a group of them in order to properly cover costs on their behalf. There isnt much one can do to reduce prices on these unless there are enough *B/DLs in the world that would convince producers to go the mass production route. The prices can't be helped much. I would go searching eBay for second-hand items and such to search for cheaper products. Sometimes you have to pay to play...

Well yes they are more expensive but if you look for sites run by other AB's or look on ebay you can often find some bargains. The alternative (especially since your a girl) is to simply make your own. Cloth Diapers with velcro closers are real easy to make and long T shirts can be converted into onsies quite easily. Other things are a little more challenging, but if you get a real baby item and dismantle it its just a question of scaling up the sizes of the component parts to get a prototype.

At one point I was going to build furniture and sell it to make extra money. What I found was that by the time I accounted for my labor, it just wasn't practical. To get the price down, you have to build in quantity, and that means mass producing. In order to mass produce, you have to have a large enough market. You would probably have a bigger market for the clothes than the furniture, but even there, you would have to have a large shop to get the prices down.

Not all girls know how to make clothes and whatnot...Your post is kind of sexist...

Like the others have said, it's because they aren't mass produced...Ebay is probably the best for getting cheaper items...But always make sure you read the descriptions and whatnot

you know i have noticed that, too. i find that if you search ebay, you can find some outfits that are under 50 dollars. i bought an outfit (havent received it yet) from a person (fromheidi2u) and it was only 29 dollars plus 13 for shipping since she is outside the US. but ebay definetly, or since you are a girl, you can always try shopping in the girl section of walmart.

Where there is a market for greed, it will happen, some of these clothing items sold on e-bay I am told by a few of my fetishest frends are cheap costume grade items, like something you would see at halloween.

So don't waste your money on something made so cheaply, if you want a onsie convert a long T shirt into one, for the price of a few snaps, or velcrow you can make one easily.

The larger people have to fend for thmselves, it's nice being small, most kids stuff will work.....

I think there's also an element of the price being high because they're fetish items. I've notice that, in general, if I look for diapers, ones that are sold as "adult baby" or "diaper lover" products tend to be much more expensive. I'm not talking like Bambinos or other diapers that are actually made for the ABDL world. I mean, just like any diapers. Go on eBay and look up "briefs" and "diapers" (lots of overlap, yes) and you will find items that mention AB or DL are always selling for a higher price.

They'd kinda have to be ...

How many adults do you see who want to one around with ruffly plastic pants, and a bonnet on? Its just not in high demand. Besides ... no competition as far as brands. There are not that many therefore what there is, can charge through the roof ...
