Taking diapers from hospital?

One of my parents work at a hospital, so I go there after school sometimes.
While they finish up some work before I go home, I'm free to just walk around.

Each room for the patients usually has a small shelf of different sizes of diapers. They have a lot of them... so I've been thinking if I should take a few. But even though there's a whole bunch of them, it's still stealing.
What do I do??

P.S. I really don't care if they're a crappy brand, I'm a desperate teen at the moment

EDIT: Whenever I'm there, the place is empty. It's very unlikely that I would get caught.

Dont steal them you may get in a habit and not be able to stop taking them from there

Your lucky, the one near me, has none. And I cleaned hospitals and still found none :/ I would say go for it, but stealing.....

Yeah dude... way way back (like a whole fourish years) I was doing some community service at this old folks home (lesson being don't break into schools at night and get caught), and they had adult diapers there. I took some once, but man, the idea of getting caught in a situation like that is totally scary, plus I kinda felt bad. I wasn't stealing from any single person in particular, but it still felt totally wrong, ya know? Whatever.

You could do it, but it would totally be bad for you karma or chi or whatever else. Damaging the postivie energy, savy? Or you could take a more rational approach to this predicament of yours and weigh the pros and cons. One the one hand, you get the fairly immediate enjoyment of having diapers, you get them for free and it doesn't take a lot of effort on your part. On the other hand you could get caught (but then, you could always get caught), it is pretty much stealing, and on the third hand... woah, where did this other hand come from? Anyways, it depends on what you personally figure is right and wrong. Do you think it's worth it? If so, then I guess you can give'r, but if you're just gonna feel awful about it then I'd say find some other means. Hope that helps.

I tend to be a bit of a goody two shoes when it comes to stealing so I'm saying don't do it. It may seem worth it at the time but once it happens you'll probably feel pretty bad about it.

A lot of people have started their lives as *B/DLs with stealing diapers from one source or another, I myself can attest to the fact that a certain nursery does a very poor job of keeping then pre-teens out of their diaper stocks :P

I'll start first with saying stealing generally wrong. Sure, it matters who you're asking, and what the circumstances are, but I mostly see stealing as unneeded and an, *ahem*, dick move, unless you have no money and are stealing food to support your family. Something along those lines at least. Most people that you talk to will not like the idea of stealing when it is not absolutely critical to your general welfare, myself being one of them.

Alright, let's play Devil's Advocate for a spell, shall we? My first way of obtaining diapers was stealing from a nursery. It was easy, fast, and resulted in many nights happily wrapped up in a Pull-Up or Huggies Size 6.

If you're going to steal from one of these rooms, make sure that you don't get caught. Getting caught stealing something common, like say, a video game is one thing; it's already assumed why you're stealing it. Getting caught pilfering diapers, however, is a whole new world of awkward discomfort. You need to not only come clean about stealing, but explain why on Holy Terra* you'd be stealing diapers of all things.

*The capitol planet of the Imperium of Man in Warhammer 40,000, where the Emperor has resided on the Golden Throne for 10,000 years

I have found that when stealing diapers or the like (Like everyone else during Junior High, I was stupid), quickly grabbing the item and stuffing it down the front of your pants is a good way to do things (Real classy, Milla). As you are leaving, since the diaper or diapers is/are down your pants, you have every right to not answer questions when the only way they would come about is if someone was staring at your crotch.

Let's face it. If every room in this hospital has a small stack of diapers, not every room is going to be occupied, and even if so not every patient is going to be wearing diapers. Stealing in this situation isn't nearly as bad as it could be. I don't like to look at things with black and white, i.e. "ZOMG UR STEALAN DATZ BAD." Stealing is bad, but here it's not really as bad as it would be if you were stealing electronics/money/top hats/airships.

Oh hell, I've done it again. Umm...

If you must steal, go for it, the only person judging you if you get off Scott free is your own conscious. If there is a better way (And trust me, there is), do that instead, I implore thee. The bit of embarrassment that comes with walking up the register with diapers in tow will leave you much better off in the long run than having theft on your mind.

You can make the right choice, I have faith in you

Not in particular, no, but I don't really have any idea what kinds of people there are to catch him. Parents and other employees function in a manner akin to fascists? Then you're going to get in trouble. For the most part, the response would be along the lines of, "What are you doing? That's weird, bro." Followed by some laughter and excuses.

I tend to get long winded, so I might have exaggerated a touch

simply put, its hard as a teen tb, but it's not worth stealing, even if its a big huge hospital. Stealing is stealing, taking what is not yours is still stealing... Nobody can tell you what to do; your your own person, and nobody can change that. But remember that you are going to have to live with your choices.

Me personally, I would never steal, never have, never will. Thats just me, you have to make the choice by yourself.

And just a word of caution, one thing to consider is what ramifications will occour, as a result of that action. It is a possability, that if you are ever caught, that could result in your parent being fired from their job. And if not I have a feeling you yourself would still be in serious trouble.

One thing, you could always try, in contrast to stealing.

Use the bedwetting excuse to your parents
Make your own cloth diapers
Save up your allowance and go to the store and buy some or buy some online; you dont need a credit card.
etc. etc. etc.

There is always more then one option; you don't "have to steal"
