More reasons to goto second hand stores.. - Page 2

Thrift stores are awesome... I'm a goodwill junkie!!! although goodwill at least is getting expensive... stuff a year ago that was $10, now when it comes in same condition/type is like $30!?! And I had never before seen anything in a good will for more then about $50, except maybe some furniture but now they have tons of stuff for $50-$300+ seesh!

Although you can get diapers for cheap! But try not to get plain ones you don't know what brand they are, unless you know they are good. I bought some $2 for 12 diapers; no names and they really sucked. Although they may have been 15+ years old, but the plastic was super thin and they leaked. And I did see a pack of the original old goodnites size med for $5... Oh well I luv goodwill & other thrift stores!!!!!!

Love thrift stores too but it seems with the economy, somehow the prices have gone up to catastrophic levels and I haven't bought anywhere near as much stuff as I usually do. Things that used to be under a dollar are now $3-4. I can't be paying that much for something I can't always assess the quality and condition of, etc. etc. So for the most part I look and rarely buy these days.

i got my plastic pants at a thrift shop, they were still in the packaging!

thats still alot cheaper then 15-30$ for a shirt ya know :/

that's pretty funny because I've also gone into ValueVillage and Goodwill before just poking around, and leaving with some very cute clothes. (I like a bit of crossdressing too ^.=.^ )
However, I haven't ever found anything cuter than some shirts or a skirt.

I just got back from GoodWill, I was poking around looking for stuff for my costume. Of course I got curious I went to the baby section, although I didn't find anything too spectacular.

Perhaps next time? Sounds like everyone else has had a lot of success

I love going to thrift stores. I haven't found any cute clothes the last few times I have been. But I have bought a few cute plushies the last few times I've been.

hehe, yes. I love finding nice big ones there ^^

and you have to look everywhere. There was a blue sleeper in the women intimate section too and i saw a few really adorable shortall's in the mens.
