Default New TB Seeks Pacifier Advice

So, I've recentlly discovered that I really would like to be a TB, I want to start out slow, so I really want to get a pacifier... I've always wanted one but I don't know what, where and how :S

What kind of pacifiers are there out there that I can get?

If I go out and buy one, i'm quite embaressed and does anyone have an idea of how I could do so and cover up for it?

If you buy a baby/toddler one from anywhere no one will really expect its for you.

That said all else fails in comparison to a Nuk 5 which you can really only get online here in the states. I got one and I highly recommend it if you like pacifiers. The great thing about any pacifier is it can last a long time and you can always keep it with you. no better hiding spot then you own pocket.

18+ months (aka Nuk 3) are alright for a first time buy. You can buy them pretty much anywhere. If you have the option of ordering online and an extra $25-30 I would highly recommend the Nuk 5. It tastes like chicken. Latex chicken!

Oh, randomly...

Which is better and why? Latex or Sillicone?

Latex is softer and warmer, so I would go with that unless you have a latex allergy.

The difference is one is bigger, like twice as big if not larger. I think most pacifiers are now latex anyways.

So, since I'm 14 and live with my parents, any other advice before I try and go buy a paci?

I'm just thinking of how I can't really use it for sleeping since my parents usually wake me up

Just go out and do it. If you're usually outside, then you don't really need an excuse. Or, you can just say you want to buy something at the supermarket/pharmacy/wherever you're going to go.

You probably should get an alarm clock and start waking yourself up before sleeping with the paci at night. Getting caught sucks.

Nuk 3's actually have an auto-hide feature. It will fall out of your mouth in the middle of the night and bury itself under the sheets in your bed. You won't even be able to find it!

Nuk 5's heave this feature too. However with time it deactivates.

Anyways just wake yourself up with a alarm clock from now on, or just be open about wanting a pacifier. There's nothing wrong with it other then some idiotic social stigma and it having the ability to throw teeth out of aliment (using it too much/sucking to hard)
