Smile I lied to my mom

Just moments ago I told my mother that I had been wetting the bed for the last three nights.
She was very concerned but I was able to convince her that I was just worried about exams.
She then agreed to buy me drynites and not tell anyone about my "problem"
And now I look forward to weeks of wet drynites.
To anyone thinking about trying this I say go for it.

Getting what you wanted? Well gee good, now your parents get to think you have a problem you really don't have. And this might lead to a doctor's visit with some explaining to do.

Bad move, in my complete honest opinion.

Lying about a possible medical condition is never a good idea. Lying to your parents is DEFINITELY never a good idea.

I doubt there is much more that I could say than to reiterate what these guys already have. I just hope you don't get taken to a doctor and have a medical exam - I've heard some can be rather painful. As for lying to your parents, not wise. If they found out you are in deep trouble even if they accept it because you have tricked them into buying for you and you lied to them. Also, it's just wrong morally - or at least I think it is.

To you and to anyone else considering this - don't! At best it's wrong and at worse you end up getting found out or having painful medical examinations.

This...

At some point your mom will start worrying that its happening all the time when it really isn't. Then you get to go to the doctor's and then they will most likely find out it actually hasn't been happening. Plus this will REALLY backfire if they ever find out the truth since they will find out you been lying and scheming to get what you want. I never heard of a case like this that doesn't end badly or stop in say less then a year.

It could backfire, but I doubt it will.

However I side with Nikki in saying I dont really want my parents knowing. Buying them myself isn't that big of deal.

Bad idea!

Abort, abort!

You will have some serious explaining to do if she takes you to the doctor, which she will do if you keep this up for weeks!
