Incase you didn't know... here's the thing.

We have no clue who you are... if you are a genuine person or yet another HNG. If you want any chance of seeing if there is an ADISCer local to you... start making good quality posts on here... hang out in the chats... list your location in your profile... and if someone is really interested in meeting they might just identify themselves to you.

Coming here and making one of your first threads "Is anyone near me?" is more likely to get you ostracised than it is to make you any friends.

There's nothing wrong with your intentions to actually meet somebody, I'm sure many people would have thought the same when they first joined (the difference being they didn't actually ask with their 2nd post). There's also nothing really wrong with asking if people live close by. The only thing is, we have no idea who you are.

Like Diapered Rabbit said, we have asked you some questions in your intro thread so we can get to know you, which really is a must before anybody will consider meeting up with you. You'll make some good friends here if you contribute and, most importantly, be yourself. Maybe check out the IRC Chat too, which can be fun
