Who likes music?

I know I do. All kinds, really. But a lot of it is all grownup, and I'm not here for that.

I want to know what songs make you feel little!

Are there any songs that fill you up with sunshine and suggar and make you want to jump around and giggle?

How about songs that make you feel like snuggling up with your favorite stuffy for a nice little nap?

They don't have to be kids songs, per say, they just have to give you that feeling, ya know?

My first pick is going to Pon Pon Pon by Kayaryu Pamyu Pamyu.

Well this is probably going to sound weird but I find that songs from MLP or the Lion King make me feel little when I listen to them.

Why would that be weird? They are songs from children's cartoons, after all.
Do you have any favorites?

This band is usually what brings out the kid in me, makes me jump around the room in pure delight. There's so many silly bouncy changes all throughout this song. They even mention cakes at one point. Cakes are yummy.

I'm weird though. This band, like most of my music interests, drive most people batty.
:worshippy::worshippy::worshippy:

I'm not sure it makes me feel little, but what a brilliant slice of musical madness!

I don't think I can say music makes me feel little cause I have a bit of a passion for music and no matter what I am doing music is playing 99% of the time. I also want to try my hand at making/composing music as well. Music to me is one of the best things man has ever come up with.

Music is the best! While no music specifically puts me in a little head space, if it's music I like or at least I think it sounds interesting then it'll make me feel pretty good on the whole and get my juices flowing.

I do totally agree with this. I'm a Brony, but don't listen to too much MLP music (however I got lots of music made by members of the Brony community, WoodenToaster, The Living Tombstone, Archie, JayB, etc.). However I also love The Lion King as well and do enjoy a few songs from them. The ones I can think of off the top of my head are

and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xB5ceAruYrI, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKjsfZVIBug to name a few.

I also agree with CuddleFish too. These are songs designed to have children as the primary audience. It'd make much more sense for these songs to invoke a feeling of regression than compared with "normal" songs, lol.

I'm the same way. I love music and have it going at least 90% of the time and want to start composing some myself. I actually just started getting involved with it about two to four months ago and it's SOOOOOOOO freaking fun. Personally, I love digitally creating art (both audio and visual). Of course the sound and sight of a someone performing and whaling on an instrument live is freaking awesome. However thanks to midi, I can make a beat with a whole string quartette, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, some trumpets, and a few synths all without being to play any of these instruments myself(I use to play the trumpet a little but that was a good while ago).

Anyway, if you haven't already, go and download Audacity http://www.audacityteam.org/ right now. It's a free/open-source Digital Audio Workstation (a.k.a. a DAW - Pro Tools, FL Studio, Ableton are all different DAWs) that has some legitimately good features and is pretty stable, especially considering it's free. If you want some more info and/or BS it about music, feel free to PM me.

I like just about every type of music except for country and most newer rap. However I try to stay open minded and give any song a chance, even if it is from a genre I typically don't enjoy. When I was younger and growing up I was really into rock, folk/bluegrass, reggae, and rap. They were all well before my time, but I grew up listening to The Beatles, The Who, Bob Dylan, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere, Andre Nickatina, and Mac Dre to name a few.

I listen to a lot of EDM now (and NO, EDM is NOT just dubstep). Drum n Bass/Liquid DnB, and House are probably my preferred genres. Deadmau5 is cool, and just about everything the record label Monstercat releases is damn near gold for the most part IMO. As mentioned before, there are some artists from the Brony community that I really like too such as Glaze/WoodenToaster, The Living Tombstone, Phage/Ink Pony, and Alex S (plus many others).

Here's an awesome remix done by Phage that I think is one of the best liquid DnB songs ever made. I mean the drum loop in it is orgasmic -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjhb8xL1Kes. Here's another song by Phage that's super chilling and a bit more relaxed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV75Owgb07c.

And here's some music by WoodenToaster. Kinda a big deal within the brony community, lol. Seriously though, he's got some talent. Here are a plethora of songs he does that are pretty freakin great.

Brony Songs by WoodenToaster:

Music doesn't make me feel little, but the music of bands like Plone and Lemon Jelly definitely has childlike qualities to it.

Also this song is really cute: Polaris- Great Big Happy Green Moonface http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EzM1blfMlQ
(this is the band that soundtracked The Adventures of Pete and Pete back in the 90s--they reformed a couple of years ago and put out a new single.)

A sentimental favorite of mine is the song Skinnamarink, made famous bybthe Canadian trio, Sharon, Lois, and Bram.
https://youtu.be/qPdV8jXAjUQ

Truth be told, ANY of their songs instantly put me in a little mood and bring me back straight to the happier, carefree, time when I'd be glued to the TV watching The Elephant Show.

Of course I have favorites! I like winter wrap up and art of the dress and hearts strong as horses and becoming popular and this day aria, well I could just keep going all day. Lol

Edit*: For the lion king, I have to say I like a song from the second one, "We are one" and I'm also fond of the circle of life, even if I can never sing the first part right. Lol

I'm a die-hard My Chemical Romance fan, and I love bands like The Cure, AFI, Blink 182, and the Smashing Pumpkins!

One band that I absolutely ADORE are the Aquabats! They're super upbeat when I'm having an awful day, keep me awake while driving, and actually makes for very fun regression music given their kid-friendly lyrics! I'll admit that one of my favorite 'little' shows is The Aquabats Super Show that aired on The Hub x3

As people have said before, definitely The Lion King! ^^.

Be Prepared, I just can't wait to be king, and Hakuna Matata bring back a lot of memories that make me feel super little!
MLP music (from the show) also has a similar effect. :).

Sorry I've been so quiet.
I really like everyones pics.

Does anybody remember this Lazy Town hit?

The slow motion version is also hillarious.

Ah, that one's great, and very catchy. I like the pirate one from them as well in that mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6oKjuvA55g

I also really like all the My Little Pony songs, especially when I'm feeling more little. Winter Wrap was my first and still one of the favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9BAeyZhAdE

edit: I see Addyshadows did a couple of these already, so I'll add another of a different genre. I was really into Looney Tunes when I was little, so the old classics have a certain appeal to me. Barber of Seville being one of the favorites.

I love classical music and every time I hear the Barber of Seville, all I can think of is the cartoon (I never saw the opera). I can't think of some of the other classical works they used but again, I always think of the cartoon when I hear the pieces played.

I have several MP3 CDs in my car for the express purpose of making me feel little, 1 is disney classics vol 1 - 4, the second is the muppet show/muppet babies mix and the third is a treasury of Sesame Street. Love them ALL!! Only time they get changed is when the hubby is driving my car we switch it to an 80s mix, I grew up in the 80s so it still makes me feel somewhat little.

When it comes to little music, I definitely can't go wrong with Raffi, Greg & Steve, Hap Palmer, or Sharon, Lois & Bram. Though Sesame Street and Disney are awesome too...
