Check out my other thread about importing these diapers. Any requests to import PM me, and check out the other thread here.

BOX they came in:

S. Korean Godnites are a bit bigger than US Goodnites
20160309_235450.jpg

Main Differences

1. Leg Guards -- S. Korean has 2 defined leak guards vs 1 for US.
2. Back elastic shape is more aggressive on S. Korean Goodnites.
3. Top and Bottom elastic is thicker on S. Korean Goodnites

Dry Weight

US Goodnites is a tiny bit heavier, despite being smaller

I'm 36', and the velcro held good. US Goodnites are indeed "stretchier", i.e. longer elastic. Nevertheless, S. Korean goodnites hold their own very well.

Re-fastening the velcro tires the elastic, making the bond between the velcro and material weaker each time.

Overall

S. Korean Goodnites are all-round better.

PM me, I'll be ordering soon.

I wonder if the S. Korean Goodnites are as absorbent as the U. S. ones, if they weigh less? Interesting that they're different since they should all be coming from the same company.

the weight difference is about 0.04oz.

As far as i know, KC has different factories around the world. Latin america still is stuck in the pre-print generation. Aka al of their diapers are all white, and the same design as the pre 2003 US goodnites. Europe has its own local factory, same as Asia, and India.

They are all different.

Its very expensive to revamp a production process. Also remember that different locales have different market interests. For example, in the US people begged to have bigger briefs. Because we are 'Murica, and we love being #1 in childhood obesity. Therefore KC made bigger Goodnites.

InB4: I might not be politically correct, but it is what it is.

CYBERWOLF, would you be willing to grab some packing tape and stretch these out flat on a tabletop for your measurements? I always cringe a bit at measurements and comparisons done with the diapers all shriveled up like that. I have no basis for contradicting your specific findings, but I will tell you that, having taken and posted measurements for many baby diapers and pull-ups, I'd have been way off many times if I hadn't spend a few extra seconds to banish the effects of the elastics. There was a post a short while back that seemed to show that Huggies baby diapers were longer than Pampers, when in fact the opposite is true--and by a significant margin.

Just sayin'!

(Guilty of not looking at all of your pictures.)

It would be great to have some actual measurements of length and all!

I'm not enough of a GoodNites fan to bother importing them, but it is interesting to see the size difference.

True, But I could not manage to keep the elastic fully extended with tape. I'll improvise and update thread. I'm thinking pins?

Or thumbtacks--if you have something you don't mind putting holes in.

Some girls ones here, looking at the pack you can see that, folded,
they are longer and wider than UK/European Drynites:

I love the Korean designs, I'm surprised that they get to come up with their own design.

Do they sell Goodnites in Japan? I'd love to see their take on them :smile1:

Drynites and Goodnites are the same with different prints.

Let me see what Japan has to offer...

I'll probably buy some if I know for sure they absorb better.

KC sold their branch in Japan. It seems that they only offered Healthcare (hospital) products.

Anyone know if Hughies/Pull-ups/Depends exist in JP?

Yes, or 29', clearly you can see that in the picture. I scribed it in to the diaper.

Wow nice didn't know that korean goodnites are longer than us goodnites 10cm away.
