New diapers too big

So I decided on a whim to buy an S/M side of store brand ladies pull up pants. With them being out of stock on the XL Goodnites, I figured these would be an easy temporary replacement for the time being. Sadly they fit way too loosely and won't provide proper protection for wettings. So, what am I to do with 18 or so of these things I can't use?

The common answer is "stuffers". Or you may be able to get out the old standby of duct tape and run some around say, one side or the other, to stop that side from stretching, which may tighten it up enough aroudn the waist for you, while leaving it with some waist elastic.

There's also the option of external support. Pull on some men's briefs after your pullup, to hold it up and in place.
