Anyone know what happened with BKN Nappies?

I recently came across a photo of them on Tumblr, and decided to check out their website for the first time in forever. Turns out, their website isn't up anymore, and there hasn't been much talk about them lately.
 
I'm guessing their preorders weren't enough to pay for production. Or were they actually shipping at some point?
