My wife thinks they are cute, so I may order a sample or pack, but haven't decided.

I like the appearance of their diapers, I just don't like the looks of their site. A construction worker carrying a fully-naked manly male just doesn't do it for me. Maybe they intend to market to same-sex couples, and don't have much of an interest in selling to those who are strait, or have medical needs. Who knows?

I have been trying to figure out how to say this without being insulting. First of all I don't care if someone is gay, I have a gay cousin and even my mother-in-law is gay! I honestly don't think people can control who or what they are attracted to, some say "it's all in your head", I call B.S. Like I said I don't care if you are gay but you don't have to flaunt the fact when trying to sell me diapers. Whenever I think about Barebum diapers the image of the "construction worker carrying a fully-naked manly male" is all I see and it "puts me off". Even though I find the male form discusting (including my own), showing different sized men modeling diapers I can accept because it's useful to most of us when judging what size to purchase.

If your wife thinks they are cute you should probably go ahead and order a case, tell her she can borrow one any time!

My girlfriend thought they were really cute, so we went on the website to the check things out. She saw the construction worker carrying the naked guy and got really freaked out. She's not homophobic in the least as she has a gay aunt and a close gay friend, but that picture made her lose all interest in diapers last week.

Thanks, Barebum. Lost at least one customer for the distasteful promo photos.

The site looks OK, except for that pic of the naked dude being carried on the shoulders of that other dude. How did some here put it...WEIRD...SKETCHY...?? They are little pricey though....other than that I wouldn't mind trying them out.

That's it, in a nutshell. Their background photo is just... weird. Gay, strait. I don't care. Either way, porn is just bad marketing, regardless of which type of product they are trying to sell. I am saddened that such a potentially nice design was ruined so soon after its introduction. I guess they won't be around for very long.

Perhaps someone should forward this thread to them. They may appreciate the target market feedback.

I ordered some - I'm easily excited about new diapers. I'm hoping to have a review out by the end of the Thanksgiving weekend.

they appear to lack front/rear elastic though, and I've pretty much established that on my "must-have" list. It used to be rare, but now (especially with all the comficare types) it's getting quite common, and soooo much more comfortable.

Okay, I'm officially weird. Any doubt about Autie or not has been cleared up. I just don't see it. Could I just not interpret human sexual behavior correctly at all? For some reason, I don't see someone being carried over a loved ones shoulder sexual. Maybe it's because his boy bits are hidden. What am I missing?

I was more off put by,
BareBum Diapers was created to bring Quality Diapers to the ABDL community that are not only comfortable and absorbent, but FUN to wear and totally ROCK when worn in Public or .... in your CRIB.
from the website. Didja catch the Quality Diapers reference? They might be the same unscrupulous people.

I've also heard people whine about ASC being sexual too. Don't see that either. What about two women in onesies merely having :paci:s in, is sexual? I'm legitimately asking.

Nice! Go and change your Occupation to Code Breaker. (Their "About Us" page does have "quality diapers" without the capitalization, though, so...)

Well, if you're a straight guy, I reckon it's the women. (Sorry to get all "biological" 'n' shtuff.) But I agree about BareBum: Naked male over another male's shoulder? Nothing sexual there--AT ALL! :)

People can't use the word "quality" now to advertise their product because one unscrupulous group named themselves that? Really?

Based on their mailing address, they're based out of a completely different part of the country...

I didn't mean to be, "Pin a rose on my nose," about anything. I really don't read cues too well, so when I see one that maybe important, I speak up, because I'd rather do that, than miss something that could hurt someone.

To be honest I am not even remotely interested in this diaper. I admit it has a different print but it looks a lot like a Snuggies clone to me for some reason. (Not saying it is, just makes me think Snuggies, similar advertising in some ways as well.)

The thing is,

Many AB/DL are men. Therefore they are targeting men. I have no real problem with that per se. I prefer the more laid back advertising of Bambino however. The product should be able to speak for itself. If you NEED to use sexual tactics to sell your product when other companies are doing just fine without it I start to go, hmm....

Bottom line? Too much like Snuggies (in my mind) for some reason and highly priced. Finish that off with the fact that the market already has some great diapers from other companies and I am like.....

They seem to be listening. Most of the complaints from this thread have been resolved on their site now. I don't know if they are on this site and read the feedback, or if they received similar feedback from other sources, but it has changed.

Yes, I just looked at the site. A big improvement!

They must be watching because I haven't seen the aforementioned photos. I still felt a little odd about there site for an unknown reason. I do actually really like the look of their diapers. I'd consider ordering some after seeing some reviews. I'm still kind of nervous about ordering stuff online (only done it for a couple months out of my 10 years active ABDL life) and have gotten super comfortable with ABU. I like how discreet they are. I did just order a paci from ASC though. Seemed decent, however it does show up on the bank statements as "Aww So Cute"... not a huge deal (and a bit off topic) but would prefer if it was a bit more vague on the statements.
