im thinking of making my character change age in a role play setting like have him regress back to a pup and have to find a mommy and daddy
 
Interesting idea. I'm a fan of regression stories & such. Do what makes you happy.
 
The best advice I can give is just roll with it :) be what ever age you feel like at the time.
