Anyone think they got there diaper fetish started by the cartoon rug rats or any other cartoon
This was one of my favorites when i was very young. Any ideas
 
It's definitely not where I got the fetish for sure but I do remeber some tom and jerry epsiodes where tom was treated like a baby. There are two or three that are like that set me off when they came on. Oddly enough the rugrats never did it for me except for that episode where angelica got babied again. It's definitely not the cause of the fetish but I could see that "enjoyment" from it as being a symptom.
 
I can't say for sure it's what caused it, but there were episodes of, and moments in, the Rugrats that definitely fascinated me as a kid. ''Chuckie Vs. the Potty,'' ''Accidents Happen,'' ''Potty Training Spike...''' yep.

"Chuckie Versus The Potty" is a classic RUGRATS cartoon.

When I was in my early teens and first exploring my DL fetish, I had always thought that Rugrats may have been what sparked the interest. I definitely know it isn't the root of why I have it, but there was quite a heavy focus on diapers throughout the show's duration. Some episodes got me more excited than others. :D

The only part of that episode I distinctly remember is when Chuckie was being escorted past the prisoners wearing diapers. Rugrats was a great show, though.
 
No cartoon show got me into my diaper fetish, though some characters that wore diapers did. The baby from Who Framed Roger Rabbit was an early influence on me as was Baby Huey.

Rugrats was and still is a great show. I caught it every chance I could.
 
Like others here, my interest in diapers started before Rugrats was on TV, but there is no question that watching Rugrats has helped me connect to babyhood. I love how thick Phil, Lil, and Tommy's diapers are. There are many episodes that I can point to that I LOVE, including:

-When Angelica has a birthday party and becomes a older kid wearing diapers.
-When Stu becomes a baby.
-Phil vs. Lil where Phil drinks so much milk out of a baby bottle, he near explodes and milk is pouring out of his mouth.

And, of course countless others. I love this show and if anything I think it helps show that being a baby is cool!
 
I don't know what it was about the show, but Rugrats scared the heck out of me as a kid. No cartoon directed me towards diapers but some were more interesting than others. Off the top of my head a few episodes from Tom and Jerry spring to mind. :)
 
These sorts of cartoons etc had nothing to do with the way I felt or the desires I had, but they always piqued my interest. I think it was more a case of identifying with them.
 
I think in some ways it was cyclical, at least for me. I always wanted to be back in diapers, but when I'd see the Tom and Jerry cartoon, or Porky Pig and Daffy put into diapers, I'd be dreaming about diapers that night.
 
There are a lot of great rugrats episodes out there and it is still a very great show to watch but I don't think my interests in diapers came from the show rugrats like a lot of the others here on this site I am pretty sure that episodes from alot of cartoons did peak my interests regarding diapers. That is the ones that involved diapers and not just rugrats. I guess I am trying to say that no one thing can establish your interest into a fetish if that makes sense.
 
I loved Rugrats as a kid (still like it), however, I don't think it had anything to do with my ABDL desires. I didn't notice anything about my fetish until after I stopped watching the show. Rugrats had nothing to do with it. Though I will admit that I did enjoy the show on a different level after re-watching certain episodes once I discovered my ABDL side.
 
That show was awesome. My ABDL interests definitely made the show a little more enjoyable to watch, but not really vice versa. As other's mentioned, the one where Angelica rebels and puts a diaper on was by far the most ...interesting episode :biggrin:

Seasons 1-3 were great, but after that they changed studios and the show went downhill.
 
I'm too old to have been affected by it, but I like the way they look at things differently, without the understanding of an older person.
And they are OK with being babies: "A baby's gotta do what a baby's gotta do!"
"You could never put that under your pants."
 
The only part of rugrats that even remotely got me interested in being a DL was probably the episode where Angelica wanted to be a baby again. Other than that I enjoyed rugrats without anything sparking my interest in being a DL. Other cartoons did this as well but ultimately it was not cartoons that led me to find out that I was a DL.
