So recently as you know I bought goodnites from target, also in that order I ordered a bag of 11 Target sleep pants (unisex as that's all they had) And discovered something interesting. Now I had discovered a similar thing with the target training pants and I'll get into that a little bit later, but for now I'll start with this:

The Target Sleep Pants are IDENTICAL to the most recent iteration of the good nites pre-20% stretchier, the ONLY difference is the appearance and that the absorbent material seems to not abruptly end in the back like it does in goodnites.

Now I know what you're thinking. "It's just design being similar" No, it's not, this is where the training pants come into play. A few months ago the target training pants (4t-5t girls) were on sale, so I bought them, a bag of 40 something for like $16, such a deal could not be passed up. Anyway I found the training pants to be utterly horrible but I noticed they were nearly identical to huggies pullups save for just having less absorbent material than the pullups, save for the design on them of course.

So I can only come to one conclusion, huggies either sources out their designs to target or targets design company copied huggies. The weird part about this is, the pre-strechier goodnites I find have sides FAR more fragile than the 'target goodnites.' The target ones are also softer and more comfortable.

I know I can't convey this simply by pictures but here are some pictures I took for comparison.

From left to right in all pictures. All products are L/XL I threw in the walgreens sleep pants for comparison.

From the pictures the only difference in the side parts of the Goodnites and the Target ones are that the normal goodnite ones are shinier.

So what do you guys think?

Interesting. I did the Target diapers for a while this past year, they were fine, ya they were also the same as pre-stretchy Goodnites from before this past late summer/fall. Definitely not the same as the other Goodnites I had at the time. They seemed fine to me. (Never tried training pants, so I can't really speak to that experience)

But! How are the Walgreens pants? I was just thinking I'd try them next. What are your thoughts on them compared to Goodnites and the Target pants?

The Walgreens pants are kind of like Easy ups in a way (Different materials though) In the fact that they're super stretchy, unfortuantely they aren't very durable, if you don't fit that well into goodnites, the walgreens sleep pants sides will snap after about 30-40 minutes.

Interesting read. I haven't worn any kinda good night or sleep pant since kindergarten so I can't really say to much, but it does make me want to try out goodnights sometime.

Target, CVS, and Kroger's disposable underpants are all made by Kimberly Clark. They are simply a budget version of Goodnites.

Got a pack of the walgreen's sleep pants tonight. greatly dislike, they barely fit. Would not buy again.

EDIT: Once I got them on, tho... I kinda like them. Like the prints a lot, they hold things in nicely. I don't trust them though. Wearing underwear over top so they don't burst on me
