What's Your Gaming Rig

Well my rig started as an Alienware x51 I had bought because I had little knowledge of PC Building around 3 years ago. But I moved the components into a new case and got some new parts so here is my rig:

Intel i5-2320 3.0 ghz
GeForce GTX 750 ti
Alienware x51 mini itx motherboard (no name)
8GB DDR3 Ram
2 1TB Hard Drives, Another 1TB External Drive
Corsair CX600
Antec 300 Illusion Case
Windows 10

Peripherals:
ASUS 1080p Monitor (1920x1080)
Logitech G19s Keyboard
Razer Naga Epic
Generic Black Mousepad (Small)
Razer Kraken Pro 7.1
Logitech C920 Webcam

My venerable Phenom II 710 started to show it's age about a year ago so I did a stop-gap upgrade and sold it. Current white-noise-maker config:

AMD FX-6300 (Thermaltake SpinQ cooler)
HIS 7850 Graphics card (stock cooler)
MSI 870-G43 Mainboard
12Gb DDR3 1333 Memory (kept from the Phenom II)
Crucial M500 240Gb SSD
Windows 7
All stuffed into this wooden box:

Allowing me to veiw this website is an ASUS VH222H monitor
Enabling me to infrequently input information on this website is a Logitech MX518 mouse and a generic Compaq branded keyboard with a USB 1.1 hub.
My mouse cradles itself on my Starcraft II Heart of the Swarm mousepad.

I don't play PC games that much, But the rig I would use on the occasions I do would be my 2006 Mac Pro:

2x Intel Xeon E5345 (4 cores @ 2.33Ghz per chip, 8 cores in total)
14Gb 667Mhz DDR2 Ram (Apple Had to use expensive FB-Dimms... )
128Gb Sk Hynix SSD
2x 250GB WD Hdd's (In a striped raid set)
XFX Radeon HD 6670 2GB
Mac OSX 10.9.5
Firmware flashed with the 2007 Mac Pro's firmware (So the Upgraded CPU's a recognised correctly)

When I get the first lot of pay from my new job i'm gonna look at getting a 2009 mac pro, But only if I can find one of the 8 core ones for a decent price (Since then I can swap in a couple of 6 core xeons :) not that I need 12 cores, but then I don't really need 8 in my current Pro.... )

Wasn't originally built as much for gaming as CAD and other intense programs for school, but I play a fair bit I suppose. Anyway, current build:

CPU: Fx-8350 OC'd to 4.4ghz
MOBO: ASUS M5a99x Evo r2.0
RAM: 4x4gb G.Skill Ripjaws X 1866
GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9-380 4gb
Storage: Samsung 250gb 850 Evo SSD, 1Tb WD Blue HDD
Case: NZXT H440
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750w

Then 2 23" Acer monitors, a Logitech g710+ mech keyboard, g502 mouse, and hopefully soon a NZXT kraken x61 (3d printing takes most of my computer budget these days)

i7-6700K Skylake CPU
CoolerMaster Closed Loop cooling
8GB DDR4-3000
1x 240GB Samsung 850 EVO
1x 2TB Seagate Hybrid Drive
R9 380 4GB
Standard DVD
Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 5 Mainboard

I do some (crappy) video editing. The i7 does make a difference over the I5
