    Default cribs

okay, lets say you had the money to buy a crib.
which one would you choose (a baby sized one) that could still fit you comfortably?
    does anyone know?

    Error! Error! Does not compute!

But really your not going to sleep comfortably in a baby crib if your average height.

Also it probably wouldn't hold up to your weight very long.

That's always a possibility especially on the cheaper cribs and surely on playpens that fold up.

I don't think a crib would be able to hold me. That being said, I have heard of people buying baby cribs and modifying them.

I have a baby crib that I sleep in from time to time. I normally sleep in the fetal position anyways and can fit in the crib fine. I am 5'11" and weigh around 180 pounds. I have not modified the crib in any way. I really would prefer an adult sized crib if I could afford one and it really looked like a baby crib. I have always wanted one and love to see pics of others that have one. Hope to oneday make a friend with someone who has one and then I'll be able to try it out. Until then, I'll just keep using my baby crib.

    well i dont think so..
my sister has a crib for her daughter, and it was kind of big.
i did try to nap in it one day when they were out and it fit pritty well.
i was wondering if anyone knew which brand it could be
because i cant just ask her about it.

So you already know there's one you like, yet you never speak of it. If you want to know the brand its better if you can just take a picture of the crib. But then, most of us likely wouldn't know off hand anyhow.

Also you could just ask her yourself and say a online friend's sister is having a baby and she is looking for recommendations and say you think theirs looks good. But if it's strong enough to hold you, its likely one of the high end ones and not one of the 100 USD ones you'd fine at like k-mart or something.

Also the crib she has for her daughter must be huge if you liked it considering your tall as hell.

Seriously ask her as I want to know the make/model of this crib as well since I found out i'm like 5'8 or 5'9 at best last year when my mom measured my height. I never seen a baby crib with a twin sized mattress.

There is something called a GRO Crib which functions as a desk, sofa bed, and crib. It is designed so kids can take them to college (hahaha yeah right) but seriously this is pretty cool.
