Default Second Gen Bambinos and comparitive sizing

    Hey all,

I hate how a diaper manufacturer never gives the true size of a diaper. So, that being said, I could use some advice here.

A large ABU cushie has a perfect fit for me. I need to switch off due to something happening in ABUs production line where I cant get them to hold even and ounce pee before they start leaking through the leg cuff.

I used a friends advice an ordered the Bambino classico medium, second generation.

I'm a 34 waist, 170 pounds, 5'9" average build. Based on the above, was medium a good choice for second gen classico, or should I have gone large?

The sizing jump from medium to large bambino classico seems really excessive. I'm not trying to swim in them.

Best thing to do it try a sample pack.
They have a sample pack with one medium and one large.
This way you know what one is best for you so you dont
get a wrong size with a larger order.

Already placed the order, was running out and didn't want to commit to another large order of ABU

Medium is usually a good choice up to about 40" waist/hips (except for Depends which have other specifications).

I myself don't like the ABUcushie for the plain fact that it only had a single tab, so the diaper doesn't hug your body as much. I think the main fact that you getting leakage is because the diaper is too loose on your body creating leak holes. That's why I stick with Banbino diapers with two tabs on each side so I know the diaper in snug about my waist and having no chance of leaking.

The bambinodiapers sizes are different .... Not to mention i love the double tapes with them.... The abus aren't as comfortable and protective to me... I have the large belissimos and they never give me problems and they seem to be almost perfect fit.

I have a very similar build as you and have been using the Bambino mediums for years.

This deff makes me feel better. To bad shipping from west coast to east coast takes a whole week plus weekend via UPS ground.

I'm a 38 waist and the mediums don't fit well at all. I think 34 would probably be about ideal. (the larges are a bit bit on me but livable, nothing a little duct tape can't help with)

the medium bambino bellismo's don't fit as well as I'd like them to and im a 32 inch waist. They still work and fit I just wish I could have the taps be one inch more onto the printed cover.
