Thread: Wear'able biofeedback contraled cat ears =^_^=

Default Wear'able biofeedback contraled cat ears =^_^=

On the up side... they do work.
How focused I am controls how they
move but I have limited control. If I relax they droop,
if I start paying mind to something the perk up and so on.
The motor is a bit loud and the part that has to have
touch your forehead is a bit annoying but it can be
    covered with bangs.

There called Necomimi Brainwave Cat Ears.

I've heard of these. They seem really cool but I think they're only available in Japan. I always find stuff like that to be a bit of a rip off as brainwaves can be slightly harder to detect is some people. How much were they? I guess it would be cool to line it with a layer of fur and stick them on the head of a fursuit :3. Do the ears go back when you get embarrassed or tired?

Yep, they are on thinkgeek for $100.

They are fairly cool, when I have the spare money I might buy a pair.

High Relaxation = Ears will drop slowly.
Focus Relaxation = Ears will perk up and droop down
High Focus = Ears will perk up quickly
High Interest = Ears will perk up and wiggle
I've also noticed with myself my/it's right ear
twitches every so often. I don't know anyone in person
who would want to try it so I don't know if it's just me,
or the set I have, or if it's normal but I don't mind it.

    I got mine on think geek.com. $100.oo
I have seen them on amazon.com to.

It has a battery case that sits on the left
side of your head (it's not to heavy).
There are two motors with a nub (one for each ear).
And then there is a fuzzy ear cover that slips
    over the nubs.

There is one wire that comes out of the
battery box that clips to your left (human) ear
and a "arm" that has a contact on it's end that
needs to touch your forehead. It also comes from
    the battery box.

There some you-tube videos of it.

I have a set I got at the anime expo. Iluvs them. The right ear does randomly twitch I think its normal. My only complaint is that they eat up batteries pretty quick. I got a set of rechargables. Also cuase I'm not a cat I got a pair of canine ear sleaves from pawstar.com

Agreed! I'd consider getting a pair of these just because I could.
