Default Tired of people outside of our community trying to rip us off

    Hi there,
I am convinced that a lot of people who don't understand our community or our interests, just suppose that we are all stupid enough to let our selves be ripped off, Not sure about in the US, but certainly here in the UK, on sites such as Ebay, people have the audasity, to tear open a pack of adult incontinence diapers, then try and sell them, for a huge mark up. in two's,or three.s having listed them as adult baby diapers, and think that we are going to be stupid enough to buy them.
Likewise there are a lot of people who make the most hidious alerations to normal clothing in order to try and sell these items as adult baby clothes, again thinking that we will be stupid enough to buy them.
Things are getting better here now with a few decent ABDL supply companies getting astablished, but a few still tend to be a bit expensive, that said I would rather pay a bit more for somthing decent than have people keep on trying to ripp us off.
Just wondered if others have any views on this, or have you been had by any of these people...?

I think people who buy adult diapers and put baby prints on them and also buy adult clothes and convert them into AB clothes, I see it as a choice if people want to buy them. I don't buy diapers with tape slapped on them because I know I can make my own that is a lot cheaper. Just go to the party supply store and get some or cut up a gift bag and tape them to the diaper or print off some diaper labels I have on a CD and cut them and tape them to a diaper. Simple as that.

As for AB clothes I get on ebay, I use my own money to buy them and I choose to spend that much on it. I have a limit though. Some make them from scrap and some use regular clothes and convert them into AB clothes. I choose to not make my own because I don't know how so I would rather buy them.

    then... don't... buy them?
i'm really confused about the actual issue here. it sounds like you're complaining about other people being stupid enough to think that they can sell something like this, and the truth is that they can. people will buy things like that, and as long as they do, people will sell those things.

if you're offended by it... then go to another website. if you don't want to buy those things, then go to the source and buy them at the regular price.

Yes, capitalism. I feel your pain my friend.

I'm afraid to go to other sites because of capitalism. I'm afraid of being spammed by bunches of non-abdl pimps who would take pictures of their ... human stock ... in diapers and baby outfits and write seductive passages on their behalf so I would link to their site to look at porn or sext with their ... inventory. That's what originally kept me from seeking information about my fetish in the first place.

Not to knock captialism or anything because in nooooo way am I against it, but you got to take the bad with the good.

Amazon.com has some links to some good sites, if you don't mind paying for shipping from abroad. Also baby-pants.com and bambinos.com, because even though you pay more, you get what you pay for. If only the IC market picked up on the quality of disposable adult nappies/diapers designed like baby Pampers. We are a small market. Small market means less bulk and fewer price breaks unfortunately.

Good luck shopping for your stash.

Seriously, you've realised the scam so what is the problem? I'm guessing you aren't the only one either because most people are not incredibly stupid (shocking I know). I'd also guess that a lot of the people doing this are in the AB/DL community as it seems unusual to me for someone who has no interest in being an AB/DL or caretaker to try and make money out of it, even if you stumbled across an AB/DL site or seller and saw how much they were charging you'd need some serious business sense to get some actual money and competition from these sites because they are so well known and so trusted that virtually everyone sticks to them and bad reviews for companies or products spread like wildfire through the community. I highly doubt that anyone is actually making money from scams like that sheerly due to the stupidity of them and the already oversaturated AB market

I always buy my diapers from the actual company and not in broken sets.
Or even full packs that I seen over priced on e-bay.

About the clothes, I seen some really nicely done ones and seen the really bad ones as well.
Just have to be careful about what you buy.

I have seen normal clothes like socks and panties being sold on ebay classified as an AB item but they have not been modified and are just normal clothing. I find that a rip off so I don't buy them. It's one of my pet peeves because I go there to look for specifically AB stuff and I don't need to see pages filled with normal stuff. Same as I don't need to see stuffed animals classified as a AB item nor TY beanies or some normal nightie or a sleeper.

Maybe that is what the OP is on about.

i never said i was offended, and i didn't mean to convey that sort of emotion.

what i was trying to say is that you have the power while on a computer to simply turn it off. if you don't like what you're seeing, then you have the power of the keyboard to go to another place.
