Default An 'aww' moment in mainstream literature

Well, I'm not expecting to be reading a mainstream book and suddenly a character is in diapers but every now and then I'll come across something that makes the AB in me think 'aww'.

Came across this the other day where the protagonist had been hit over the head and is being looked after by a female doctor friend:

'Bed for you, Liebchen,...drink some more juice and I'll tuck you in.'

Anyone else come across any gems from mainstream literature?

The whole book Gossamer by Lois Lowry. It's a chapter book and stuff, but it just makes me feel so little when I read it. It's about dreams and- *deletes the spoiler*
