Default Favorite films / TV series as a child?

Yeah, this is where you get to talk about your childhood memories.

What were your favorite movies and TV series when you were a child?

For me, my favorite movies before I was 12 were -

    The Terminator
    The Running Man
    Total Recall
    Conan the Barbarian
    Heavy Metal
    Action Jackson
    House (classic '80s film here)
Terror Vision (never released on DVD, damn shame)
    Elvira, Mistress of the Dark
Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death

My favorite TV series back before I was 12 -

    In Living Color
    Def Comedy Jam
    MTV's Headbanger's Ball
    MTV's 120 Minutes

I discovered anime and foreign films when I was around 12, and then almost everything changed.

So, what is on your list for this?

As a kid my favourite shows were:

    • Digimon
    • Dexter's Lab (Ahahaha Hahahaha! - When I do an impression of an evil laugh it's always Mandark)
    • Megas XLR
    • Dragonball Z/GT
    • Recess
    • Xiaolin Showdown
    • Codename: Kids Next Door
    • Shaman King
    • I think it was called Wacky Racers? The show with Dastardly and Muttley anyway.
    • Others I can't remember at the time.

Another favourite show of many people my age seems to be Pokemon, but I got bored of it midway through Johto. I always loved the games, and the movies (esp. Mewtwo Returns), but the actual TV show doesn't quite get into the same fond place.

As for movies I loved as a kid:

    • Digimon: The Movie
    • Pokemon 2000
    • Pokemon: Mewtwo Returns
    • Baby Geniuses
    • Lion King
    • A Bug's Life

for movies the big ones I remember:
    Toy Story
    Lion King (1 and 2)

can't remember much else other then those.

For me it was all of the old school 90's Nick shows and of course Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I grew up on that stuff.

Old school Nickelodeon (Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, Ahh Real Monsters, etc.) and Cartoon Network's Cartoon Cartoon (Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd and Eddy. etc) are the BEST!
