    Default Diapers For Roleplaying

    Hello,

My girlfriend and I are thinking about having a go at a bit of roleplay, at the moment I'm likely to spend most of the time as the baby, but we can't be sure untill we've tried it!

Basically I was hoping for some advice and pointers regarding what diapers to get? Since we're just starting we probably won't be doing any wetting or anything like that, so we're going more for the look than anything else.

We live in the UK and are both students, so we don't have huge amounts of money to waste, which is why any advice on what would be a good buy would be greatly apreciated.

At the moment, having looked around a bit, my dilema seems to be this: Firstly, do we go for cloth or disposable? And secondly, do we get poper AB diapers or adult incontinence diapers? As far as I can tell the AB diapers look like they might be better, but they are vastly more expensive.

On the AB side, I've found this that looks like it might be fun, but expensive:

AB thick waddle nappy / diapers, BN, Medium on eBay (end time 20-Apr-11 23:59:24 BST)

And Cuddlz seem to be the main specialised disposable AB diaper seller in the UK.

But on the other hand on more medical sites you can buy twice the diapers for half the cost, so it is worth it?

So, the long and short of it is; can anyone recomend a thick, babyish diaper for roleplaying that is both affordable and available in the UK?

    Many thanks in advance!

Hi, I use Abena x-plus they take up 4000mls and they are very babyish looking and the swell up a lot. They have just improved them and put more gel in them, feels great too.

If you are looking for style over absorbency, try ABU Cushies Diapers @ ABUniverse.com.

They don't have a very reputable shipping record, however, as far as looks go, it's as babyish as you can get.

Just try normal inco nappies they are much cheaper and designed for the job in hand!

    Thanks for your input everyone!

The ABU Cushies look great but due to the 'not very reputable shipping record' and the fact that I'd have to pay to get them shipped over to the UK I don't think I'll being going with ABUniverse.com

I'm glad someone has recomended the Abena X-Plus, having done a little more research yesterday they seemed to me like a good bet, one of the thickest and most comfortable as far as I can tell? I don't suppose anyone knows of a good, discrete seller in the UK for them? Whilst I imagine my flat mates already have some idea that my girlfriend and I get up to some odd things in the bedroom, I don't really need it openly confirmed for them.

My other option seems to be Cuddlz. They are a UK seller and being AB orientated rather than medical a very clear about being discrete, the only issue being they are considerably more expensive.

Thanks again for your input, its very helpful! The wiki section you guys have has also been really useful!

Honestly, if I were in your position, I'd go with the Cuddlz. It looks like you can get a sample pack of 2 or small pack of 8 for just a few pounds. The price per unit is outrageous, but if you're just looking to try it out with your girlfriend you probably don't need to order a case. And a case of adult diapers is quite large--even if there are no markings on the outside, you might have to come up with something creative to tell curious flatmates.

Your other option, if you can manage it, would be to check out your local drugstores. You might be able to find Attends or Tena or one of the better retail brands. And that way you can time your return to your flat to avoid the roommates.

Not sure how you figure a big (S,M, or L as the case may be) 4 striped down the front make them babyish looking, but okay...

Best babyish looking diapers would be Bambino (3 varieties) ABU (Cushies, Super Dry Kids) - of the two, the Bianco is more absorbant, the ABUs are more comfortable (softer plastic).

Yep - Cuddlz would probably be your best bet - or perhaps you might investigate these: Buntewindel - purportedly they are capable of holding over a gallon - which would easily be the most absorbent diaper on the market, eclipsing even the mighty Dry 24/7.

ABU is offering pre-orders on those here stateside, but they're a HELL of a lot pricier on this side of the pond ($3 per unit). I'd feel compelled to wear one all day and night just to get my money's worth...

Just wanted to say thanks again for the advice, we've gone for a sample pack of 2 Cuddlz to see what we think. Got the place to outselves in a couple of weeks so we can give it a try and see how it goes
