Thread: This is for all the newbies!

Default This is for all the newbies!

Okay, I'm not sure this is quite the right place for this thread, but I figured this is where it would be most viewed, and I couldn't find a more fitting place to put it. if it is out of place, please move it to an appropriate spot. Thanks.

Lately it seems that ADISC is being overrun with newbies, and while I am absolutely thrilled that the ADISC community is growing, I am NOT thrilled with the ones who come and decide this is just another porn/fap site. Simply stated, read the rules before you post. This is not a porn site, this is not a fantasy site, this is not a dating site, and most importantly, this is not an inappropriate site. We are a support community, here to support one another in the subject of *b/dl ism and all that it entails, as well as incontinence and other issues of the like.

Here is the link to the rules. Read 'em. Learn 'em. Embrace 'em.

This is not meant to attack newbies, and as I stated before, I am thrilled that the community is growing. I just want to secure the future of ADISC, and make sure it stays a clean forum.

    Sincerely

    -Your friendly neighborhood Turtle.

    I'm responding, and I'm angry!

I agree. There's a wave of overexaggerated stories sweeping the forums right now. Just hold on. It will quiet down again. It's not the first, second, or third wave...

Me :p is right...they tend to come in waves and then leave after getting negative reactions/rep from the regulars here or bans from the mods. Honestly, though, none of the posts have been that bad, nor for that matter have there been as many as other waves in the past. Things will settle down in two weeks or so after the spring break period pasts.

That said, I do agree that new members should read the rules before posting. First impressions are important, and nothing makes a worse first impression than breaking the rules, in my opinion.

I haven't been here that long myself, and i am in no way condoning false stories or inappropriate nature on the side, I myself am a minor. On the other hand, I really think we need to cut some of these noobies some slack. I mean come on! Who the hell are we to judge? Have all of you forgot that were a small community to begin with? The ostracizing that takes place on this site amazes me. Countless people are raged at for the littlest things. Some of the behavior makes me sympathize with these kids. I'm not talking about someone who comes on as there first post and says "Hi me like diapers i wet them all day and then my mom changes me". Just say the people that post in the wrong section. If were going to speak of the almighty rules how about i quote them myself. Behavior toward other member, Section one and then part seven. "If you correct someone, do so politely, constructively, and with tact. Make it a suggestion, not an order." Lets be honest here people, how many times have you seen people give a direct order to a person that's new here? I for sure have. What about section three, part five. All of the times when a noobies thread gets destroyed by a lengthy debate on wether they are telling the truth or not is that not "drama"? I'll probably get raged myself for speaking out against the elites of the abdl community, but whatever i've stayed quite for to long. My two cents.

Then they go to other *B/DL sites and complain about how mean the mods here are.
I have had 0 problems with the mods in the 3.5 years I have been on this site (including TBDL.org). It's simple, guys. Follow the rules, respect others, get respect in return.

I guess I'll take my +1 and support the OP on this thread.

    Think before you post
    Don't post until you've thought
    and if you can't think
    Don't post
