So I have a computer question for you. I got a call from work today telling that there were duplicate files made of documents on a computer(We'll call it Kelly's computer) that were found in a "Shared Folder" on one of our other computers up front. Melissa went into the shared folder to delete the files off of the front computer, but they were not only deleted off the front computer, but also Kelly's. She now does not have those files and they are not in the recycling bin. These were the questions presented to me:
1). Why did this "shared folder" come up on this front computer when no one physically created it?
2). Why when Kelly deleted them from the front computer did they get deleted off of her computer as well?
3). Is there anyway to recover these documents that were deleted, since they were company info?
I myself have no clue as to why this may of happened, especially the creation of this folder. I am wondering why that folder just suddenly appeared.
Could you possibly give me some answers to these questions, because I have no answer to them.
Any help would be immensely appreciated.
