Thread: camping port-a-potty = potty chair

Default camping port-a-potty = potty chair

I was casually talking to my friend and she was kidding that she lived in her car pretty much and I asked where her bathroom was. I suggested she get a camping port a potty. And then it hit me. . .

Basically all it is (or at least the one they sell at walmart) is a big uglier version of a kid's training potty! It is the same concept of the kid's potty, it sits on the floor and is not raised really high like an older person potty would be.

It is definately going on my wish list! And some stickers to brighten it up

While camping I'll just take a shovel and toilet paper. Since both have more uses then just being tools used to aid in shitting in the woods.

Because they are less biodegradable :p
It's an environmental thing, and you don't normally want to have to carry diapers with you let alone dirty ones.

What Kwis said. Plus diaper's are already heavy and bulky alone and you'll have to lug the used ones back to a trash can.

Anyways one of campings primary purposes is supposed to be about getting away from all the bullshit of normal daily life, diapers included.

What's with all this talk of a shovel? In my line of work, we have no time to dig a hole. We just squat against a tree, do our business, and hope a squirrel doesn't fall off of a branch.
