So, I love hot peppers and cooking with them. Earlier today I was making scrambled eggs with hungarian hot peppers (pretty good if you've never tried it).
But so yeah, I was sautéing the pepper first and I was standing a little close to it and took in a huge breath of pepper fumes. I've done it before but this pepper was hotter than usual Now I'm still coughing from it more than an hour later haha.
Also, worse.. I hadn't properly washed my hands off and happened to touch myself.. if you know where I mean. Ouch! That really burned for a while haha. TMI? Yeah, probably.
Moral of the story: Be careful when you handle hot peppers.
