    Default The Political Compass

Yes, I know this topic has been done three times before, but the last thread was two years ago, so I think we're due for a new one.

I love this political quiz (and others). It has its flaws, but it's pretty good, if you ask me.

It measures your political beliefs on a coordinate plane. The x (horizontal) axis measures your economic political beliefs (left-wing and right-wing; socialism and capitalism), and the y (vertical) axis measures your social political beliefs (more government control over people or less).

Here's the link: The Political Compass - Test

I also took the liberty of placing all previous active members' scores on one chart, to see how everyone compares to one another.

It's funny how many ADISC members are in the green quadrant, when most mainstream politicians are in in the blue quadrant, the exact opposite.

On the internet, everyone is either a Communist or a Libertarian. Go figure.

Honestly, I'm a little surprised, since I've often told people I tend to lean toward the right. Guess I was wrong, after all .

    Edit: oh, and the numbers
    x-axis: -3.38 (leaning left)
    y-axis: -3.74 (leaning libertarian)

    Economic Left/Right: 9.00
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.62

I think that I'm a little more libertarian then what test gave me, but in all other respects it's accurate.

Also WOOT for being the most right wing person here.

I found that some questions warranted some clarification. Including this example.

Schools should not make classroom attendance compulsory?
