Default these speakers any good? (computer speakers) - Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 32 watts RMS 2.0 Speakers

anyone had a set of these?
I need to down-size my bedroom system because of the noise complaints (cops just dont say Turn it down...)
but I still need something with enough SQ that I can still write music in FL, I have a modified soundcard (kX driver project, DSP's all modded up) so I can use a sub with a 2.0 setup through the sub out on the card (if anyone wants to give this driver a try, start searching broken computers for a Soundblaster with the EMU-10K1 or EMU-10K2 main chip, if you find an EMU10K2 board, I will pay you well for it ;3 <the K2 was on the Sound Blaster Audigy 2>

I know someone who has them, and they're not bad, but for around the price, you should look at the M-Audio Studiophile AV30 and AV40. They're basically scaled down studio monitors. I have the AV40s and for the price, they have excellent quality and can be surprisingly loud when necessary, but still sound good at low volume too. The AV30 is around 90$ or so, M-Audio Studiophile AV 30 - - and the AV40 is closer to 200$, the main difference being the AV30 has a 30W amp, and the AV40, a 40W.
