Default What social Experiment should I do this semester?

Alright I like messing around with people and doing social experiments. For example in college I tried to be a nice likable "slob" Essentially Not combing my hair and only focusing on my studies. Wearing clean clothes but just careing little for my overall appearance. In high school I switched a lot. Went Goth for a while, then went nerd gamer and what not.

Now I'm gonna start College again and since my class schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays I take the same classes and Tuesdays and Thursdays the same classes. I'm thinking about Being all clean cut on said days and all "dirty" or goth or something on mondays... I'm very interested in doing something new.... Any tips?

You could always try something crazy, like a victorian style dress, steam punk garb, homeless man gettup..

You could always try something completely new and just be ... yourself.

My personalith never changes. This is myself I dont put up a facade. I just want to prove that looks dont matter in life just being yourself is key. I do like the steampunk idea.

I like TeeDee's idea of going Steam Punk, but then again I love Steam Punk and plan to have a Steam Punk fursuit one day. If your a fur and in college wear a collar.

I kinda used to do this but I never dressed up for anything ... just my personality. Then I get a job -.- and now they try to force me to dress up when I work on a laptop all day remotely on stuff and hardly see people except when I get coffee... Dunno if its fate so watch what you do lol

I went through college as Arthur Rimbaud. That pretty much made a statement. I also wrote like him, so much that when my literature professor read my poetry, she asked me if I had ever read him. I had not, so she suggested him. It changed almost every aspect of my life as I became him. So there is my suggestion.

Glad you asked. Arthur Rimbaud was a French poet who lived during the great Romantic era of poetry along with Victor Hugo, if I'm not mistaken, circa 1850's. He set a new standard for writing poetry, and he was only 15 at the time. He had a torrid affair with an older man, Paul Verlaign (spelling?) and eventually wound up shooting him in an argument. Rimbaud's poetry included two masterful collections, Illuminations and A Season in Hell. I'm thinking about posting one of my college poems which I wrote when I was 21 called, "Drunken Boat: revisited". It's in part an homage to Rimbaud, but it's also a poem about my own infantilism at that time, and how I hated it, and how I hated myself. Considering that it was written so long ago, I think younger members such as yourself would find it interesting that nothing changes, and how us older members were just like you when in our teens and young twenties. Unlike Rimbaud, it's not in Alexandrian style. He wrote in sets of four lines, 12 syllables, then 11, 12, 11, with an A, B, rhyme scheme. I think that's very hard to do.
