Had a bout of loose stool today, bike racing day. Not wanting to have *issues* in the bike shorts, I took a bit of a risk and used an attends I had lying around. I usually use bambino biancos, but I didn't want to be raised too far off the seat, since the muscle structure is pretty set with a given seat-to-pedal distance. Attends are fairly crappy (great feel but to damn thin and leaky), but heck it worked. Turns out I didn't have the problems I feared, but I did have the fun of knowing I was the only one in a diaper. It was even noisy, but not like anyone is listening for it.
So it CAN be done with minimum chafing, though I've been enjoying a bit of diaper rash from wearing nightly and most days. The race was 31 miles in 1 hr 20, plenty of hills, for those who want to know such things.
