Yeah, I had pinkeye once when I was a kid. My sister and I got it at the same time from our cousin, who'd somehow picked it up while we were visiting her. I think the worst part of it was waking up with my eyes crusted shut from the pus that came out overnight. My doctor prescribed me antibiotic eyedrops though, so it went away in about two weeks.

Kids get it more easily, 'cause they're all touching everything and rubbing their eyes when it hurts and stuff. So it spreads easily in children.

But it's not exclusive to them.

Blogbaby you sound like you need to step up your cleaning practices you must be doing something wrong to get all these weird ailments.

Does someone in your place work for the sanitation department where they come in contact with municipal waste, if you or they do you need to wash your hands more or carry purell with you and use it often.

I remember guys here that worked in a landfill driving truck and they brought all types of ailments home because they didn't wash there hands and work cloths enough.

I do hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, but isn't it caused by, like, getting poop in your eye?

It's caused by the same bacteria, yes. But much like hepatitis A and e.coli, you can catch it from someone who doesn't practice proper hygiene if they're handling your stuff. Terrifying in a way, isn't it?
