Thread: Super Porn banned in Scotland

  1. #1

Default Super Porn banned in Scotland

'Extreme' extreme porn law puts Scots out of kilter ? The Register

As regular readers will be aware, back in May the Westminster Parliament passed the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act. This included legislation (s.63 - s.66) that would make it a crime to possess material that was pornographic and realistically depicted various acts, including extreme violence, bestiality and necrophilia.
This doesn't affect us, not yet, but one of these days, someone is going to catch word of our fetish, label us freaks, and deem our diaper porn morally unacceptable.

    [email protected] term "Superporn".
But really, that's kind of retarded.
    Freedom of speech/expression and whatnot.

That's okay, I borrow ID from my neighbor and I know a place that is willing to overlook the fact that I look nothing like Hubert.

    Absolute bullshit.

But once again, who's going to defend the people who have extreme fetishes?
I saw a Lib Dem politician argue against the law, but on the whole nobody is against it.

If it's fake, then it's not a problem. Worst still, the IWF will start censoring art that it thinks fits that description... like it censored a wikipedia (!!!) article featuring some cover art.

Well, even though what they're doing is against freedom of speech, they probably have good intentions in doing so. The types of pornography they are banning, such as necrophilia, extreme violence, and bestiality, depict acts that harm others. That's bad.

However, I do not believe that AB/DL videos are harming anybody. So I'm not sure if anybody will ever ban them or not. The only real reason anybody would is because they label it as pedophilia or because it can involve bodily functions. It's not a fetish that can harm others, such as asphyxiation and other types of edgeplay.

Just my two cents on the whole subject.

Road to Hell off to your left. You'll have lots of company on that particular path. Things that are popular don't need any defending. It's the repugnant stuff that requires the serious consideration as to whether there is legitimate harm or is it just making us go "Ewww!"
