Default Skin Problems: Dark Inner Thigh area

I have a very embarassing problem and just like the title suggests, I have dark/discolored thighs which really puts a damper on my self-confidence. Especially when taking diaper pictures which generally show off the crotch area...

Is there a way I can lighten the skin around that area? I scrub and scrub and I can't get it off! I'm generally a very clean person but unfortunately my skin doesn't reflect that

This is pretty gross but I noticed if I stay in a diaper for a good amount of time, the leak guards of my diapers will discolor a little, leaving me to believe that constant contact in urine is breaking it down... I think lol. But i'd want a more scientific or medical approach to this.

While I'm not a doctor or a medical professional, I'd venture to say that the discoloration of your leak-guards is likely not related to the discoloration of your flesh.

To my knowledge, it's pretty common for there to be areas on skin that differ from the rest of a body's complexion. Dirt is very different-looking than discolored skin -- don't be worried that people will think poorly of you. It could be birthmarks; it could be any number of small things.

How long have you been experiencing this?

This seems like a dermatological problem, so you should make an appointment with a Dermatologist if it bothers you.

it's plague...i am sorry but, you're gonna have to get your legs cut off. Nah just messin' with ya! Go to your dermatologist and they will give you a cream probably or go to one of those herbal medicine stores and see what they got.

Don't sweat it. I've had my fair share of skin problems and have always been very self-conscious about them. The thing is, people generally don't even notice it. Much in the same way that I haven't noticed other peoples similar problems until they've pointed them out themselves.

If it really bothers you you could go see a dermatologist. Just don't try any skin bleaching creams or anything. I've heard (and no, I don't know where so this is very unfounded) that they can be pretty bad for you if used in excess.

I have the same thing. I suggest going to the dermatologist, my dermatologist said my discoloration was an indicator for an increased risk of diabetes.
