    Default Rebellion?

What do you think would be harder?

Leading a Capitalist rebellion in a Communist country

Leading a Communist rebellion in a Capitalist Country?

    I say choice 1

I'd mix and match the best parts of both systems.

It would depend on the will of the people. If the majority of people in the communist country hate communism, it would be easier to lead a rebellion there.

Numero dos. Because people are greedy like that and don't want to share stuff.

Oh, come on now. What does wearing or not wearing a tie has to do with anything? I seriously doubt that not wearing one at all times will send signals of weak leadership to the rest of the world. It certainly hasn't to me. On the contrary, it makes the guy seem down to earth and human.

By your line of thought, what do you think of an African president wearing a kashiki? Or, god forbid, an Arab politician with a keffiyeh?

Now that I got that out of my system, let's get back on topic

First no doubt. Police powers are always more pervasive in a Communist nation then a capitalist one. Personal and economic liberty have gone hand in hand.

I really hope your kidding, do you know what socialism is? No offense but if you think the US is heading towards a socialist society you're retarded, right now the US is nothing close to a balanced or equal society.

I just realized how off topic that was, well I guess this is a pretty touchy subject so to prevent any drama, even though it's a bit hypocritical, I suggest we keep to the original subject of the thread.

To answer the original question I personally think a rebellion would be more successful in a communist to capitalist revolt. I think it would work out better this way because more people seem to be in poverty in communistic societies and if the opportunity presented itself I think a majority of the people would revolt to gain capitalistic society just for more opportunities of success.

I think that no matter what system you live under, there were always be people who think the grass is greener on the other side. Its built into our greedy human psyche to covet what others have.

Where money is God, I imagine it would be almost impossible to turn the clergy away from the all-powerful dollar.
