If you can stand the red tide more power to you! I was down there on summer vacation as a kid and that red ride forced us to cut vacation short in Tampa and do the rest of the vacation in Tennessee in the mountians if it were not for pools in hotels the vacation would have washed out!

I live in Jacksonville FL myself. Moved 20 years ago to get away from the Michigan cold. Don't miss that even a little.

We don't need to worry on red tide we got algee blooms that are 10 times more toxic than humans can touch and throws you in the hospital. But yes red tide can cause breathing problems but sadly this new bloom puts hundreds of fish and dolphins on shore.
