Thread: Anime collections

    Talking Anime collections

OK I know there are a lot of people here on Adisc that like anime so i thought this would be an interesting thread to start. If you have an anime collection how big is it and what does it consist of?

As for me mine looks like this:

    Tenchi muyo (Ryo-Ohki)
    Trigun (complete series)
    Moribito (season 1)
    Case closed (seasons 1-4)
    Naruto (seasons 1 & 2)
    Jyu-Oh-set (season 1 partial)
    Inuyasha (different episodes)
    Black blood bothers (complete series)

I don't have any anime, really...If I want to watch something, I do it online...Same with manga, if I want to read it, I'll do it online...I do own the first two Chobits manga's, and I have the first Dragonball Z manga, other than that, I'm fresh out...

I've got Akira on VHS. Bought back when I was about 11. It was with English audio and unsubbed, meaning I got about half of what was going on at the time. Other than that I've only got less legally downloaded anime.

I've got about 30 mangas though. Reading of a computer screen just isn't the same thing. Most of them are (not very sexual) yaoi stories.

Well... I don't keep anime... I have a tankoubon manga collection, but that's not the question is it?

    Chobits 1
    Hell Girl 1 - 3
    Loveless 1 - 7
    Pretty Face 1 - 6 <complete>
    Death Note 1 - 12 <complete>
    Rozen Maiden 1 - 6
    Monster 1 - 18 <complete>
    Claymore 1 - 10
    NANA 1 & 2

Oh and I collect Yen +, because I'm a manga fangirl.
I might of missed something but I don't think so...

I have more clips from Youtube in my comp than I do anime...

I have some anime- episodes I like a lot from various series- but I have no real collection.

For the most part, if I want to watch an anime, I just stream it on animecrazy.

I have hundreds of GBs of Anime as a "backup" for my friends massive collection. Never paid for any of it, and that's the way it should be.

I backup all my anime as files on DVD-R's. I used to keep it all on a 400gb hard drive as well, for easy access, but that died

    Let's see, the vault contains:

    FLCL (all)
    Gravitation (all + ova's)
    Gantz (all)
    Lucky Star (all)
FMA (all the original series eps + movie)
    FMA: Brotherhood (all, ongoing)
    Paranoia Agent (all)
    Elfen Lied (all)
    Basilisk (all)
    Azumanga Daioh (all)
Bleach (1-99) -- I haven't picked this one back up yet
    Ouran Host Club (all)
    Irresponsible Captain Tylor (all)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (all + ova's)
    GTO (all + ova's)
    Air Gear (all)
    Naruto (1-220)
    Naruto Shippuuden (all, ongoing)
    Death Note (all)
    One Piece (all, ongoing)
    Akira (movie)
    Genshiken (series 1 & 2)
    Vampire Knight (all)
    Soul Eater (all, ongoing)
    Loveless (all)

I love anime/manga, but I don't have a collection really at all. On my computer I have the complete Death Note, and Bleach up until a certain point (I got it before it was completed). I have yet to finish either, and I probably won't read Bleach, it was meh IMO. But I love Death Note, and I would love to read all of FMA.
