The Physical Feeling of Diapers

Nothing beats the feeling a thick nappy and plastic pants.

Being Autistic, I find being in just a diaper calming and comforting.
The physical sensation of my diaper is calming and helpful with maintaining cognitive/emotional self-regulation.

I honestly couldn't imagine not being in nappies now.

I definitely feel very safe, secure, and comfortable in diapers. It seems strange, but I feel like I can really be myself when I'm wearing.

Nappies have just become part of who I am.

I know what you mean. I love the feel of the bulky padded heavy tight nappy on me. I find it so arousing. nobody knows I wear nappys. so the feeling of them all padded and bulky plus the added secrecy of them is crazy hot..and when theyre wet it feels amazing walking around talking to people

KimbaWolfNagihiko If you're on Medicaid, you can use a website called ActivStyle. They provide incontinence supplies for Medicare and Medicaid recipients, but I'm not sure if Medicaid would cover diapers in the case of anxiety. Also, if you can get a doctor to think you're incontinent (both your regular doctor and a urologist), your insurance might cover them. I agree, they are very comforting, and I feel at ease and not on edge when I'm wearing them. Even though there's a sense of vulnerability when I'm in a diaper, it's almost like a comforting vulnerability, as if I'm a little child. Hopefully that will help. :)

Yes, I receive Medicaid, and I've seen those commercials on TV. I think it would be really really unlikely to be able to get them to pay for diapers for anxiety though. Don't think those are on the drug formulary! And I'd rather not go down the ''fake incontinence'' route... that would be insurance fraud, after all.

You know, if you really manage to make all those specialists believe, that you are incontinent, it won't be a fraud. 'Cause, technically, to do this you need to actually be incontinent, what with all the tests they run to check it.
You'll need a really impressive control over muscles, which are hardly controlled on the conscious level at all. So, basically, you'll be incontinent during the tests they do, then throw a switch in your mind and reverse to normal as you go about your business.
Wish I could do it. But that's just about the same as the art of slowing down your own heart rate. I know that can be done, but it's still almost magic.

This is the very reason I want one big nappy cat suit so I can just glue it shut & forget the world! :D

Besides the autism, everything is the same for me. I do love the feeling of diapers, but I get a similar reaction from leggings or tights. I wear them to bed a lot (much more often than a diaper, unfortunately), and between them and the feeling of a cool, unslept-in bed, i get a euphoric cooling feeling from it. :)
